isn’t just fast — he’s got that kind of speed that changes the way a defense has to game plan. You can line him up in the slot, at running back, or even throw him on defense, and he’s going to find a way to make plays. As a freshman, he was already flashing elite traits across the board — burst, balance, quick-twitch agility — and he’s only gotten sharper since. You see it the moment the ball is snapped: that quick burst off the line, the sudden cuts that leave defenders leaning, and the instant separation that makes deep shots feel like layups. He’s got a natural feel for space and knows how to make defenders uncomfortable whether he’s the one getting the ball or just clearing things out. It’s not just about speed with him — he’s smart with how he uses it. He can press a DB’s leverage, flip them around, then hit that extra gear that few kids his age have.

Brown is a high upside athlete with explosive traits and true three phase versatility. 5’8” 165 lbs. he contributed as a freshman for Centennial at RB, slot, and corner flashing elite burst, fluid movement, and top end speed. Natural with the ball in his hands, he shows sharp cut ability, strong balance through contact, and the instincts to create in space. Rare quickness in tight area and breakaway speed make him a constant big-play threat. Defensively, he’s twitchy and disciplined in coverage, able to mirror routes and stay attached at all levels. First offered by Arizona then Sacramento State but will see increased college attention after his five game sit due to transfer rules.

has to be in that conversation. He was one of the fastest players on the field all night, and it felt like he could’ve touched the ball multiple times every single series without it being forced. What makes it even more impressive is that he did all this while playing next to a top talent like Sidney — yet Brown still stood out in his own right. His burst off the line is special. He gets instant separation with such quick twitch and sharp cuts, and once he sees green grass, he’s gone. There’s another gear he can hit that most defenders just don’t have. But it’s not just raw speed — he knows how to use it. Desert Edge lived off the deep ball for much of the night, and Brown was a major reason it worked. Whether he was clearing space or taking the top off the defense, he made life tough for whoever was lined up across from him. He’s electric — and the kind of player who only needs one step to change a drive.

Brown is a gifted athlete and explosive playmaker with the ball in his hands. 5’8” 165 lbs. he saw time at RB, slot receiver, and CB as a freshman flashing outstanding speed and twitch. His fluidity, short area acceleration, and break away speed set him apart from his peers. He’s instinctive and balanced as a ball carrier being able to separate from defenders or absorb contact while maintaining forward momentum. Shows excellent elusiveness in both tight spaces and the open field. In coverage, he’s quick footed and is able to stay in phase vertically or at the short/intermediate levels. Picked up his initial college offer from Arizona in March and will see a lot of D1 recruiting attention going forward. Played his freshman year at Centennial and then transferred to Desert Edge for his sophomore season.

Standing at 5’8 and 165 pounds of muscle Brown stood out to me as one of the top running backs at AYF All stars this year. He looks like a natural running back who very versatile and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Very impressed with his ability to play in the slot and at RB very well. Overall looks to be a true all around back that can do more than just run the ball.
- Powerful runner with great strides for his size
- Quick breaks
- shifty
- Rb that can play slot and catches everything

– A really good looking, muscular kid for being a 2028 prospect.
– Runs low to the ground, yet still strides out. Plain and simple, he’s a natural running back.

– Was not at 100% in the game against New Jersey and didn’t play as much as expected
– When he did get touches, it was easy to see, the kid is going to be elite
– Explosive, runs low to the ground. Runs almost like he’s a hockey player skating
– Also contributed at safety and in the return game with touchdowns
