This is a class that will go down in the history books as one of the best in state history. We have a ton of individual breakdowns dropping every day to spotlight some of those special prospects. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the wide receiver and tight end positions. Mount St. Mary wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1837321' first='Zechariah' last='Robinson'] enters his senior season already holding multiple offers and with plenty of ability to make an impact in a variety of ways. Robinson is a versatile playmaker who lines up all over the field and gives the Mount St. Mary offense another dynamic weapon to utilize. Robinson displays excellent hand-eye coordination and has the ability to come down with difficult catches in traffic. He does a good job defeating press coverage, using his footwork and physicality to get off the line and attack open areas of the field. He understands how to find space in coverage and gives his quarterback a reliable target. What I really like about Robinson is that his impact goes beyond catching the football. He is willing to get after it in the run game and compete as a blocker, showing that he can contribute without the ball in his hands. With his size, frame, athleticism, and ball skills, Robinson is also a major mismatch in the red zone. With multiple offers already on the table, it will be exciting to see what he puts together during his senior season.     Coming off a tremendous junior season at Jones, [player_tooltip player_id='1461909' first='Hunter' last='Purvis'] is a playmaker who finished with 52 receptions for 1,312 yards and 16 touchdowns in his junior season. He also brings legitimate speed to the position, running a 4.44 40-yard dash and a 4.09 shuttle. I had the opportunity to do a Friday Film Review on him this summer, and I really liked what I saw from him at wide receiver. He is a true playmaker who has the ability to make big-time plays whenever the football is in his hands. His route-running ability stands out, and he understands spacing concepts and how to find open windows for his quarterback. Once he gets the football, he has the athleticism and instincts to turn a routine catch into an explosive play. His combination of speed, route running, and ability to create after the catch makes him a dangerous weapon for the Jones offense and a player I'm excited to continue watching him out on the field.      Tuttle wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1035155' first='Jalen' last='Lane'] put together a productive season, finishing with 47 receptions for 948 yards and 16 touchdowns while totaling more than 1,300 all-purpose yards. This was my first-time watching Lane on film, and I came away impressed with his overall ability and playmaking potential. Lane does a great job creating separation through his route running and understands how to find space in the defense for his quarterback to get him the ball. He has the ability to stretch the field vertically and put pressure on defensive backs, but he can also take a short or intermediate reception and turn it into a big-time gain for the Tigers. His ability to create after the catch makes him a dangerous weapon every time the ball is in his hands. After watching his film, Lane is definitely a player I'll be keeping an eye on moving forward.     Another Tuttle star gem is [player_tooltip player_id='1035152' first='Jordan' last='Lane'], who finished the season with 1,098 all-purpose yards and 11 touchdowns. The Tigers have another dynamic weapon they can utilize in a variety of ways, giving their offense multiple playmakers to work with. Lane moves extremely well both in open space and in tight areas, allowing him to make defenders miss and create plays after the catch. He understands passing concepts and does a good job finding open space and creating throwing windows for his quarterback. What I really like is the number of ways Tuttle can get the football into his hands, and the coaching staff does an excellent job finding creative ways to utilize his skill set. With his versatility, athleticism, and ability to make plays in space, Lane gives the Tigers another weapon who can make something happen every time he touches the football.     Another standout wide receiver from Tahlihina is [player_tooltip player_id='1704215' first='Noah' last='Lloyd'], who was part of the 2026 state championship team. Lloyd also contributes at linebacker on the defensive side of the ball, giving the Wildcats another versatile athlete who can impact the game in multiple ways. Much like his counterpart [player_tooltip player_id='1704213' first='Cy' last='Ammons'], Lloyd is a weapon that Tahlihina does a great job utilizing. He has a good frame, excellent footwork, and a physical running style that allows him to lower his shoulder and finish plays. The coaching staff does a great job moving him around the formation and finding different ways to get the football into his hands in open space. As a receiver, Lloyd understands how to find open windows for his quarterback and uses his footwork to create separation. His physicality, versatility, and ability to make plays with the ball in his hands make him another important piece of the Tahlihina offense. With the way the Wildcats utilize his skill set, Lloyd has an opportunity to be a big-time playmaker this season.     Tahlihina wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1704213' first='Cy' last='Ammons'] is a receiver who does an excellent job creating separation and consistently finding ways to get open. He runs good routes and does a great job sinking his hips at the top of his routes, allowing him to create space for the quarterback to deliver the football. He has a strong catch radius and displays excellent hand-eye coordination, making several acrobatic catches on film. Ammons isn't afraid to compete for the football and will go up and make difficult catches when necessary. He also has the ability to stretch the field vertically and create explosive plays downfield. What makes Ammons exciting is what he can do once the ball is in his hands. He has the athleticism and playmaking ability to turn a routine reception into a big play. His combination of route running, ball skills, catch radius, and ability to create after the catch makes him a receiver who can make things happen every time the football comes his way.
