Gilford is a lanky and athletic corner that has tremendous athleticism and some underrated strength. As you'd expect from the son of a DB coach, he does all of the little things right. Quick and fluid hips, turns and finds the ball and plays the ball through the hands. Whether it's executing a simple heads up block or getting out in space and locking on in the open field, he does it with the same aggression and technique. He has developed well in the passing game as well and does a great job of keeping a strong anchor. I still believe he should land in the FBS ranks at the very least. Banta is tall, has a good build, and has the physical and mental tools to be great. Recently he added a Grand Valley State offer, and I genuinely love that potential fit.
