On Saturday, June 27, 2026 Prep Redzone Next was back-in-action in Jackson, New Jersey, as they hosted "The Rize." A double-session prospect showcase, this event drew middle school prospects from all across the country to see how they stacked up against their national counterparts. Each prospect was personally hand-selected by middle school guru Al Pops to compete and attend.

As per usual, I attended and report to you my positional notes for the position group referenced in the title of this article. My evaluations are through the lens of a high school coach and talent evaluator.

Be sure to follow me on Twitter for the latest New Jersey high school football prospect news and not miss a beat!

It was mostly a good day for Adeyosola Obatola. The EHall-bound prospect showcased some solid fundamentals, as well as his raw strength. Against smaller opponents, he simply had no use for them and consistently threw them out of the club. From a pass protection standpoint, Obatola kept his inside post well, which allowed him balance and stability. He could, however, stand to power down a bit more quickly. For Obatola's game to take the next step, I want to see him work to refit his hands inside, back on to his opponent, more consistently.

There was a lot to like about former regional top performer [player_tooltip player_id='2237644' first='Keith' last='O'donnell']'s game. In my opinion, O'donnell was a consistent winner with his upper body. With arms extended and elbows locked, I watched him consistently grab the inside of his assignment's chest, effectively controlling him and tempering their pass rush. Although he leans a bit, which is something that once he gets snatched down one time he will never forget and likely adjust, O'donnell compensated by having a stable and balanced base, while also managing to keep a safe pass blocking distance from him and his opponent.

I am convinced at this point that younger offensive line prospects have a tendency to lean forward too much, making them susceptible to getting snatched down. Luckily for [player_tooltip player_id='2106085' first='Mj' last='Yasin'], this was not the case. In fact, for Yasin - a former regional top performer - he wielded this to his advantage, as he was very aggressive and powerful off of the ball.

There was much to like about Bobo Decato's game aside from his natural size. Decato was opposed by a wide 9 and did an excellent job of keeping his post foot to avoid getting beat to the inside, while safe guarding against the outside speed rush. Once his matchup dared to cross face him, Decato simply buried him by burying his face into his oblique and pummeling him down the line. Decato's footwork can stand to improve, however. For every time I saw him get beat, he tended to grab and toss his matchup - a surefire penalty each time out.

The Rize Event Coverage

Defensive Line, Part 1
Defensive Line, Part 2
Offensive Line, Part 1
Offensive Line, Part 2
Quarterbacks, Part 1
Receivers, Part 1
Running Backs, Part 1
