As we approach the season, we have begun a new round of rankings updates. The latest class to be updated in Kentucky is the incoming senior class of 2027. With our newest Top 250 being released for the class, I will be taking some time to break them down by position. Tomlin is a threat to go the distance at any given moment as he has the speed to simply run away from the defense for big gains. When defenders are able to catch up to him, Tomlin has shown the contact balance to break tackles and elusiveness to make defenders miss. Darrian also caught 19 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns as a junior, and recorded 19 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss. He finished last season with 205 carries for 1,423 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games. Talbert is a shifty ball carrier, showing the ability to make sharp cuts on the dime to make defenders miss with ease. He has also shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense once he hits the second level. Talbert also caught 14 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns as a junior. Hood is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact while maintaining his balance to break tackles without losing stride. He has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Daven also caught 13 passes for 118 yards as a junior and made an impact on defense as a defensive back, recording 47 tackles, one tackle for loss, and an interception. He has very impressive vision, showing the ability to find cut back lanes then hit them with a sense of urgency. Once he hits the open field, England uses his explosive speed to break away on long runs. Josiah also caught five passes for 27 yards as a junior. Stiltner had a very impressive junior year, leading Raceland in rushing with 174 carries for 1,490 yards and 23 touchdowns in 14 games. Landen has shown the strength to run straight through defenders to break tackles with ease while keeping his balance. He has also shown the burst of speed to break away for big gains once he hits the open field. Stiltner also caught a touchdown pass as a junior.
