On the Rize: Top In-State DL Invites

We are only a few weeks away from one of the biggest prospect events of the summer, Rize. As an invite only event, these are the players that are the future of the sport. Honing into New Jersey first, local talent will be on full display in Jackson as the next generation of talent prove to scouts and coaches that they are worth remembering for years to come. Don't be surprised at all if you find out a long list of attendees went on to be stars at the D1 level. Starting off with the defensive front, here are the big names ready to make an impact only two weeks from now.    Starting off the list we have a player that I am very familiar with in [player_tooltip player_id='1590287' first='Jasiah' last='Dennis']. Jasiah attended PRZ Next events in the past and he's impressed every single time he's stepped onto the field. Even as a 2031 prospect he was right up there competing with the 2029 class, earning high recognition from scouts in attendance. What stood out the most in Jasiah's game is the intensity he brought to every drill and the explosiveness he came off of the edge with. Jasiah is equipped with long, powerful arms that will be trouble for blockers for years to come. Jasiah is one of the top 2031 prospects to keep an eye on at Rize.     Coming out of my neck of the woods, [player_tooltip player_id='2057055' first='Bobby' last='Todorov'] is set to make a big splash two Saturdays from now. An athlete that can really line up across the entire defensive front and find success, Bobby has impressed in the past with his relentless motor, size, and length. He has all the attributes needed to shine at the high school level and beyond, and we should get a good preview of his skills at Rize.     A well known prospect making his way out of South Jersey, [player_tooltip player_id='2121461' first='Bryce' last='Greene'] is ready to make his name even more well known once Rize arrives. A interior defender with a big presence upfront, Bryce is a strong anchor that can take on multiple blockers and still hold his ground. I expect very few offenses to find success running it up the middle when Bryce is lined up ready to clog up the hole. This kid has a very high ceiling.     [player_tooltip player_id='1401065' first='Jaizon' last='Robinson'] is a player I haven't gotten the chance to see play in person yet but from his film, can tell he is going to be menace up on the defensive front when he takes the field next fall. An edge rusher that is tough to contain, Jaizon can use his bigger frame to overwhelm the blocker in front of him.   I think what impressed me the most in his film was his ability to succeed on the offensive side of the ball as well. As a bigger guy he can get down the field quickly, elevate for the ball, and shake off would-be tackles on his way towards the endzone.     Another 2031 defender that is prepared to compete with the 2030 class, [player_tooltip player_id='1891565' first='Ahmad' last='Clanton'] is a name worth getting to know. A versatile weapon with an athletic build and high ceiling, Ahmad has the potential to shine not only as a defensive lineman but on offense as a running back as well. Being a 2031 prospect, Rize will be a great opportunity for Ahmad to show schools and scouts what he is capable of and continue that momentum into the fall.
