There was something about one particular rep that Jaizon Robinson Jaizon Robinson 5'11" | 186 lbs | EDGE/TE St. Joseph Academy | 2030 NJ got home on that I really appreciated. The move that led to victory was not all that complex – a club. However, what proceeded it and set up the move was what impressed me. First, Robinson rushed half-man, which is something – especially young players – struggle to understand. As such, his body was shaded on his matchup. Next, I watched has Robinson got hands on his matchup, with his inside hand near the “v” of his opponent’s shirt. This enabled Robinson to control the offensive lineman’s frame with power. From there, he delivered a strong club which collapsed the outside of his matchup, allowing just enough of a path for Robinson to eek through for a win. The intentionality and attention to detail in this rep Robinson took was second-to-none.

Jaizon Robinson is one of those players who is a force off of the edge and out of the 2030 class he has proved to be one of those threats to opponents, yet a huge asset to his team. He is going to have a big chance to really make some noise against some other top talent from around the Country at the “RIZE” in New Jersey on June 27th! Stay locked in on the exciting action!

Jaizon Robinson Jaizon Robinson 5'11" | 186 lbs | EDGE/TE St. Joseph Academy | 2030 NJ is a player I haven’t gotten the chance to see play in person yet but from his film, can tell he is going to be menace up on the defensive front when he takes the field next fall. An edge rusher that is tough to contain, Jaizon can use his bigger frame to overwhelm the blocker in front of him.

I think what impressed me the most in his film was his ability to succeed on the offensive side of the ball as well. As a bigger guy he can get down the field quickly, elevate for the ball, and shake off would-be tackles on his way towards the endzone.
