The Rize: Scouting Notebook on Offensive Linemen, Part 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Saturday, June 27, 2026 Prep Redzone Next was back-in-action in Jackson, New Jersey, as they hosted "The Rize." A double-session prospect showcase, this event drew middle school prospects from all across the country to see how they stacked up against their national counterparts. Each prospect was personally hand-selected by middle school guru&nbsp;<a href="https://x.com/AlPopsFootball">Al Pops</a>&nbsp;to compete and attend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As per usual, I attended and report to you my positional notes for the position group referenced in the title of this article. West, who has FBS-ready size, was able to physically impose himself on most matchups; however, against more skilled or coached prospects, he had a hard time anchoring bull rushes that got underneath what would have been his pad level. Spadano did a great job staying in front of his matchups and moving laterally. Additionally, I saw him take his sets with low hands and even better bend. This posturing made Spadano extremely difficult to work under. I thought that Deptula played with high pad level; however, he routinely found ways to anchor and stonewall pass rushers. This was particularly effective against bull rushes and those who rushed full man. Headed to Camden to work under coach Rob Hinson, Redrow will certainly get his body up to par and his ability. At this particular invitation-only showcase, Redrow competed against numerous prospects who either are, or are approaching, varsity ready. As a result, Redrow struggled with anyone fast who cross faced and went inside.
