Populated with the likes of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Butler, Drake, South Dakota State, Brown, and St. Thomas, just in terms of D1s, the 2026 University of Wisconsin-River Falls MNWI Mega Camp was one of the brighter spotlights available on the Upper Midwest's Summer Camp SZN. With serious scholarship dollars on the line, hundreds of Midwest linemen descended on the defending D3 national champs for a day of testing, competition, and of course, getting coached up and evaluated. Lucky for our readers, PrepRedzone has the exclusive recaps and coverage of the 2026 UWRF MN/WI Mega Camp, for your eyes only, below!

--

Offensive Line

Standouts

PRZ managed to get eyes on Verona Area's Max Crimmings near the end of Session 1 at the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp while we were scouring the underclassmen groups. Boy did we like our finds too, with Crimmings leading the way in terms of impressiveness and recruitability. Crimmings measured in on the day at 6'4, 221 pounds with a lean, and I mean very lean, frame. Talk about room to fill in, Crimmings looked (in a good way) more like a pass rusher than protector, and holy moly did he blow the roof off testing, going 4.92 40, 4.73 in the shuttle, 9'3 in the broad jump, and 34.7" in the vertical jump. Talk about an athlete, Crimmings was also one of the most technically sound OTs in attendance, not to mention one of the most physical. Impressively patient in his pass set, foot speed like a talented hooper, and was eating contact and power rushes for breakfast. The Wildcats' OT showed a great punch and consistent hand placement and did a great job of continually staying square throughout a rep. Twitch, power, physicality, some combination of the bunch, Crimmings was taking on any and all opponents with equal effectiveness. Must-know name out of the Wisconsin 2028 OL class.

https://twitter.com/MaxCrimmings/status/2016326866970271972

One of the biggest winners of the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp and its OL/DL Session 1 undoubtedly goes to [player_tooltip player_id='1863233' first='Louis' last='Walker']. The St. Francis rising senior is as mean in person as he in on tape, and Walker was generating noticeable NSIC attention thanks to his brutality at the contact point and through the whistle. Flexible, bendy base with nimble feet, Walker has great balance and physicality for his size, with a patient pass set and the constant yearning to beat up and inflict his will on an opponent, Walker was winning a ton of reps in River Falls, and winning them emphatically too. Stayed in good body position throughout a rep and was able to adjust and stay balanced post-contact. Aggressive, punishing finisher as well. Earned SMSU and Dakota Wesleyan offers thanks to his performance at the defending D3 natty champs.

https://twitter.com/WalkerLoui32867/status/2067383814532349990

Coming in at 6'2, 270 lbs. with a diesel of a mullet and the play style to match the swag, West Lafayette Harrison's Cooper Hartman made a strong impression at the UWRF MNWI Mega Camp. Passed the eye test, laterally agile and could handle speed rushers threatening him at the top of the arc and to his outside shoulder, and a great base for absorbing and redistributing contact as well. Good hand fighter and light and nimble on his feet as well. Thrived the more physical the drill or competitor got.

https://twitter.com/coophart77/status/2067430485857275958

Union Grove has been one of the more fertile recruiting grounds since I began working with PRZ more than a half decade ago. The Broncos, whether their athletes ball out at our showcases, on the gridiron, or on the offseason recruiting trial, Union Grove prospects always seem to catch & hold the attention of our scouts. Enter 2027 TE/OL/DL [player_tooltip player_id='1733709' first='Anthony' last='Zimmerman'], an almost literally can't-miss prospect who measured in at 6'5+, 262 lbs. with some solid juice on the athleticism front for good measure. Zimmerman, easily a First Team All-Eye Test and First-off-the-Bus selection from the UWRF MNWI Mega Camp, Zimmerman could change direction frighteningly well for his size throughout drill work, and his long arms were a giant help during 1v1s, where his balance, strength, and physicality shone through excitingly successfully during competition. Eastern Michigan, Augustana (SD), and MSU-Mankato are all involved right now.

https://twitter.com/AZimmermann88/status/2044627212507165033

Honorable Mentions

A breakout athlete from the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp, St. Croix Falls' [player_tooltip player_id='2236151' first='Eli' last='Larson'] was really impressing both PRZMN and PRZWI during drill work and competition. Larson was built and made for run-blocking situations and settings, where he mauling opponents and did a great job of firing off the ball face up, with good pad level, and running his feet post-contact. Also was creating some serious collisions in pass pro and had some nimble feet at his size. Big-time sleeper out of the Wisconsin 2027 OL class.

Instagram: @larz__27

Can't find a lot of details on River Falls High School's Shawn Vorwald outside of his performance at his hometown, backyard, collegiate mega camp at the defending D3 national champs. Vorwald, despite not having any measurements or athletic data points posted from the MNWI Mega Camp, even his name was wrong, came alive during 1v1 competition, where his pass set highlighted his balanced, bendy base that was really absorbing contact and halting rushers in their tracks with ease. Vorwald, at 6'4, 250 lbs., was also showing off a ton of strength when he could extend his arms post-initial contact, and he threw out some mean, brutal finishes for good measure. A new name and breakout 2028 OL to the recruiting scene Big Foot High School's River Jedlicka was a favorite of both PRZMN and PRZWI throughout the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp. 6'1, 250 and well filled out, Jedlicka was a refrigerator of an OL prospect on the day, with very impressive foot speed that was staying square in front of and shutting down both a rusher's initial move, as well as secondary or counter. The First Team All-Eye Test mauler also displayed great balance both pre and post contact and was patient in his pass set throughout the day of work. Jedlicka looked and played like a future D1 OT at the UWRF 2026 MNWI Mega Camp.

https://twitter.com/JedlickaRi35403/status/2067339450426773617

Representing the Land of Lincoln and Plainfield East High School, Ryan Badon put in a good shift of work at the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp. A solid mix of size and athleticism, Badon earned wins against a variety of different rushers in River Falls and was especially powerful if he won the hand placement battle with a DL. St. Norbert offered up a roster spot after the camp thanks to Badon's performance.

https://twitter.com/Rbadon23/status/2067346313742627207

Stock rising performance out of MN 2028 towering OT [player_tooltip player_id='2115374' first='Atlas' last='Hegg']. Coming out of the MN private school ranks, Hegg measured in at a whopping 6'6, 240, with plus length and a ridiculous amount of room to fill in. For his size, PRZMN was impressed with Hegg's bend and how easily he could drop his hips, not to mention the lateral agility that was very useful and advantageous in pass pro settings. Plus, Hegg was impressively absorbing and redistributing power when he saw it, and Hegg was rising to the occasion in terms of physicality. So much to work with in this young, stock rising junior offensive tackle prospect. The 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp was far from light on high-end talent, but amongst the three sessions and nearly 1,500 campers, Takoro may have been the best player, as well as recruit, in attendance. Coming into the camp with offers from Mizzou and North Dakota, Takoro showed why he's a budding potential blue-chipper, as he was dismantling his fellow underclassmen peers and opponents, moving mass and throwing them backward so much intensity and ease that you would think he was popping a blocking sled. Takoro straight-up should not have been in the young buck group, the huge DT was dominating with his mean & effective bull rush, twitchy jab steps and inside moves, and ability to successfully execute pass rush moves and counters. This Madison product has some serious juice from the interior of the line of scrimmage and measured in at a verified 6'3, 300. Plus he popped off an 8'2 broad jump and 22" vertical. I believe Takoro to be the most physically impressive prospect of the entire camp from 2026.

https://twitter.com/azindo_takoro/status/2047377507414933553

Yet again, to no surprise, Fond du Lac High School was represented by a monster at a collegiate prospect camp. Check out these testing numbers from verified 6'1, 232 lber. [player_tooltip player_id='2236153' first='Tyvon' last='Pate'] at the 2026 UWRF Mega Camp: 4.69 40, 4.56 pro-agility, 9'9" broad, and 38'3 vertical. Ridiculous is one word to sum up the testing performance, and the rising senior DL carried the momentum into competition, where he could apply that athleticism with frightening effectiveness. Plus, Pate looked the part of an elite athlete, with a cut up, impressively muscular frame for a high schooler that easily earned First Team All-Eye Test honors from the 1,000+ person camp. Pate was a nightmare of a 1v1 matchup in both run and pass blocking/rushing exercises, as he was aggressive, attacked and defeated blocks with noticeable technique, and showed a ton of strength when he locked out and extended his arms. Throws 56'1" in the shot put too. Earned a Bemidji State offer after camp and also has been offered by UMD, Minot State, and Upper Iowa. What a stud!

https://twitter.com/TyvonPate/status/2067372613492498632

Honorable Mentions

Coming all the way from the Hoosier State, Triton Central's Dallas Clarke made the long drive to River Falls worth it for the UWRF MNWI Mega Camp. Clarke, along with his verified size, was impressively smooth, agile, and twitched up for the position. OL had a tough time handling the quickness, and Clarke recorded a 4.47 pro-agility and 8'3 broad at 6'2+, 262 pounds going into his senior year. Looked good in all three phases of the 1,000+ person Mega Camp up in the Badger State.

https://twitter.com/dallasclarke71/status/2067731015393579303

Julian Cipala was representing Maple Grove and the MN Big School ranks well at the 2026 UWRF MNWI Mega Camp. A sophomore starter last fall with the Crimson, then the defending 6A champs, Cipala is beginning to noticeably grow into his body and promising frame, measuring in at River Falls at 6'3, 218 lbs. and plus length. Cipala popped off a 4.79 40, 8'3 broad, and 26" vert during testing, and his length, lateral agility, and experience in pass rush situations against quality OTs showed up during 1v1s. Smooth and able to exploit an offensive tackle's inside shoulder. With a year of starting experience already under his belt, I think Cipala is poised for a huge season in the sack department this fall.

@WithLife38119

PRZ has appreciated DGF's stud 2027 DE/EDGE/OL [player_tooltip player_id='2119175' first='Nolan' last='Dale'] and his dedication to the 2026 Summer Camp Trail. With some good experience under his belt running with the Rebels, as well as in the camp trail, Dale had a strong showing in River Falls with the defending D3 national champs. Dale measured in at 6'2, 232 lbs., popped off an 8'10 broad and 30" vert, and he proved he could turn the corner to beat OTs, as well as work a quick inside and lateral move. Dale beat a couple MN 6A and Wisconsin D1/D2 OTs from what PRZ saw during 1v1 run blocking defeat drills as well as pass pro reps.

https://twitter.com/FarmerDaleNolan/status/2068449319716339870

--
