PRZMN is always hunting for the Next Great Minnesota Lineman. At the time of this article’s publication, no MN 2028 OL has yet to receive a P4 offer, and that means there’s still plenty of time for risers and breakout names to emerge. In major recruiting news in MN, Iowa State came by Breck High School to meet Hegg and talk to his coaches on Oct. 6. a clear sign of high-level interest in the junior tackle from the Minnesota private school ranks.

Hegg, who reports 34″ arms, posted Week 1-4 highlights that show a LT, RT, and DT who does a good job of getting his hands up and under and opponents’ chest plate is a strong run blocker who can finish opponents on simple down blocks. Hegg shows a bit of bend for a taller junior offensive tackle, and it’s impressive how quickly Hegg gets off the ball and can fly up and into the second level. He closes on LBs in a blink and can use his length and immense size to beat defenders with both physical tools and body positioning. The junior crumples defenders once he gets his hands on and starts driving the legs. Hegg also flashes a balanced base in pass pro, quick, light feet in his pass set, and does a good job of staying square. Lots of good things to work with from a foundational technique and physical ability standpoint. Must-know name in the evolving MN 2028 OL ranks.

Stock rising performance out of MN 2028 towering OT Atlas Hegg Atlas Hegg 6'6" | 230 lbs | OL Breck School | 2028 State MN . Coming out of the MN private school ranks, Hegg measured in at a whopping 6’6, 240, with plus length and a ridiculous amount of room to fill in. For his size, PRZMN was impressed with Hegg’s bend and how easily he could drop his hips, not to mention the lateral agility that was very useful and advantageous in pass pro settings. Plus, Hegg was impressively absorbing and redistributing power when he saw it, and Hegg was rising to the occasion in terms of physicality. So much to work with in this young, stock rising junior offensive tackle prospect. Great in person evaluation point as well.
