Salster's recruitment took form this offseason, settling down to his TE spot, where he steadily picked up P4 buzz, capped off with an April commitment to Virginia Tech. He is an intriguing player with a basketball background, with the athleticism that translates to the gridiron. Having seen him in person, he is an efficient mover with the size to be a mismatch. He isn't as raw as I initially expected, either. He looked clean in his routes and showed good hands. His first year truly specializing as a TE might be his freshman year, which leads me to believe the sky is the limit here.

It's been a long time coming for Stone, who is set to finally debut in our rankings headed into his senior season. Stone has been a popular LB recruit for a while now in AL, and he tied together his recruitment with a commitment to App State a few weeks ago. Stone is an aware field general in the middle of the defense with a good feel for angles and leverage. He is a patient, but willing pursuer of the football with the pop at the point to get ball carriers on the turf. Stone has long been a favorite of mine, and I think it's because his floor is so much higher than others at the position and in his class.

It hasn't even been 24 hours since Mabrey committed to Troy, and that's been pretty on par with his recruitment. He seemingly exploded onto everyone's radar this spring and positioned himself as a premier TE prospect in the state. He is a true mismatch, coming in at a rare 6'6 205 with a lot of space to get bigger. He is a forward-leaning, driving runner off the line who cuts through cushion with his long strides. He consistently wins above the rim and is a big box out option in the middle of the field, which is where he will make his money. He is an easy eval and will land himself high amongst other TEs in the state.

Georgie has a 3-sport background and is a true speed threat, burning a 10.7 PR in the 100M. He is just a true TD threat with lift-off ability from any spot on the field, which translates to his ability as a returner. He is quick to his top gear off the line and is just running by people right now. He will have to prove he can tap into different gears, but with truly elite speed, George will debut in our rankings, and his stock should continue to rise.

Holland will make his rightful debut in our rankings after time as a steady FBS prospect on the recruiting trail. He is a big, strong, broad-shouldered player who carries over 300 pounds very well. He is a fantastic athlete for his size and body type, proving he can mirror pass rushers and get out to run in space. He is a strong, physical player who just launches himself into defenders, and does so violently. His explosion to and through contact is beyond impressive, adding context to how aggressive he is. Holland is one of the best size/speed prospects on the OL in Alabama.

Bryant, committed to Coastal Carolina, has received well over 2 dozen offers and generated quite a name for himself out of Florida, but he will debut in our AL rankings after a move to Robertsdale. Bryant hovers around 5'10, making a potential move inside to nickel totally possible, especially given his traits. His short-area quickness and twitch are elite, quickly tapping into his top gear. He knifes by blockers when coming downhill, gifting himself opportunities as a tackler in space. His foot speed helps him mirror in coverage, and he also gets physical in routes. Bryant is just a ball of twitch and energy, making him a true impact player.

Lowery, a state champion winner at QB, has landed himself on the board of D1 programs and is looking to tie together a prolific HS career this fall. He is a long, lean player still growing into himself and developing some of the rawness out of his game. His release is quick, and he really impresses with his touch. He is a calm distributor of the football and is capable of mixing up speeds on the ball, but his flashes of feathery touch set the intrigue for me.

Ussery, a new addition in Jacksonville State's recruiting class, has solidified himself as one of the more popular EDGE prospects in the state. He is a tall, lean player with prototype length and measurables for the position. He is raw and still growing into himself, looking to add extra pop. Regardless, he scraps hard at the POA and has the unique ability to work both shoulders of blockers and pull himself into the backfield. From there, he has the length to finish as a tackler. He is a dreamer, which certainly sets the intrigue.

Williams is another strong player at a loaded position in AL, evidenced by his recent commitment to Iowa State. Williams checks the boxes of a prototype P4 EDGE rusher. Size, speed, length, bend, motor, he checks them all, and plays on a body with room for more physical growth. I love how he turns speed to power, long-arming blockers around the bend, and keeping his feet firing to eventually win. Williams has true boom potential at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2171853' first='Zy' last='Wilson'] is a smaller playmaker with the explosiveness and twitch to compensate and play at a high level of ball, given his size. He is a truly elite playmaker with the football, making hard cuts and aggressively changing direction without losing much speed or acceleration. That translates to his ability to impact the vertical passing game, where he proves difficult to run with down the field. He is an explosive player with violent change of direction, which is where he will make his money at the next level.

Friendly is a towering, raw, true rare traits prospect who is someone easy to dream on. He doubles as a basketball athlete and is built like one, too, sporting a skinny, lean frame with space to add weight. He is a long strider with the vertical presence to naturally set up opportunities underneath, but he is a consistent winner above the rim, which is what will translate and be his calling card at 6'6. He might outgrow a traditional WR spot, which could take a year or two of seasoning before he is ready. Regardless, he wins vertically, and he does so with energy and timing, not just his height and reach.

Cooper is coming off a productive junior season and played himself onto the radar, even though his recruitment is still taking shape. Cooper is a well-rounded player who makes an impact at all three levels. He has the game speed and long times to lift off and separate, both before and after the catch. He is sudden and twitchy enough to bounce around traffic in YAC situations and create his own yards. He flashes a physical edge, both after the catch and in contested catch situations. As I said, Cooper is well-rounded, and I would consider him a D1 graded receiver.

Laws has been a big offseason riser and has put himself on good footing heading into his senior season. Similar to Cooper, this guy is just well-rounded, steady, and has a high floor. He is a smooth athlete who is well tuned, proving capable of tapping into different speeds and gears. He is able to slow himself down and redirect at the top of routes, offering a wide range of routes he is capable of running. He is a tough player when taking on contact, tying together another element to a playstyle which should project well.

Land missed his entire junior season due to injury, but regardless, he has turned up at Jacksonville for his senior year, and he is still generating D1 attention. He is a strong, well-developed frame, packed into himself with muscle. With the strength he has in his lower body, he gets natural horsepower on the ball, projecting as a drive ball thrower who at least has the arm to tap into different trajectories. I will watch him closely this fall, as he is surely eager to get back on the field and prove himself.
