Utah Showcase Winners: Two-Way Performers

May 5-8 featured four showcases, and here were the winners of the group by position. Let's break down the two-way players.    Bode was exceptional on both sides of the ball. He is an excellent athlete. His pristine footwork, closing speed, acceleration, and phenomenal ball tracking skills make him deadly when he is on the field. He's a P4 starting talent on either side of the ball. He was as advertised. Strong hands, great anticipation, and feel for the game. Elite prospect.     Tytan showed how great of an athlete he is. Great size and frame, he is an excellent mover and twitchy for a player his size. He displayed great instincts on both sides of the ball and during the 7's portion he routinely got opened and showed his strong hands and the ability to create separation and why he'll be the top target on offense this year. He's a dynamic athlete and is an exceptional player on both sides of the ball, his physicality, lateral quickness and overall explosivity will make him an impact player at the next level.     The more reps I see Eli take on the defensive side, the more I like him on that side of the field. He has great length, is light on his feet, has good hips, and plays with great instincts on the defensive side of the ball. He has good cover skills and disrupts passing windows. He shows good closing speed and has the quickness needed. His accolades as a receiver are obvious, and he's a player who possesses great tools as a boundary receiver. His length, speed, and ability to win all three levels make him a deadly receiver, which is why he's recruited at the P4 level. Just a great athlete.     Jaxton is an exceptional athlete. He has good quickness, great long speed, and the closing speed and burst needed. He is a twitchy athlete who changes direction on a dime. He's a traitsy two-way player and dynamic with the ball in his hands. He's got pristine footwork and a good release off the line. Defensively, he uses his instincts along with his hip fluidity and quick acceleration to be a ball hawk and disrupt passing windows. Great overall athlete.     Samuel has great size and speed combination. He shows great athleticism, and has good hips and does well changing direction. He excels in getting vertical with his routes and displays strong hands and a large catch radius. He does a good job creating late separation and frames the DB out with his size. He has a great understanding of how to use his body to his advantage. He uses his length to disrupt receivers and gets his hands into the body of a receiver, breaking up passes. Huge potential to be a riser. Has all the tools to be an FBS-caliber recruit. Great upside.    Those were some exciting two-way players who had a great showcase.
