Davis contributed in all three phases as a Knoxville sophomore in 2025. The defensive back/wide receiver hauled in four passes for 40 yards. On defense, he delivered five tackles, four of which were of the solo variety. Davis also was a special teams' contributor, seeing action as a punt returner. He developed on the non-varsity level, too. With graduation losses, the speedy playmaker should receive more work in 2026. While we don't have a lot of evidence as to his preparedness for the opportunity, his Hudl page does house video highlights from individual games last season. On them, we witness a prospect comfortable in the secondary, possessing the fluid movements and change-of-direction to stick with pass catchers in coverage. He also reads and reacts quickly to come up in run support. As a receiver, he gets in and out out of his breaks quickly, running smooth routes and putting DBs on their heels. Davis has a chance to break out this coming campaign.

Covington broke out in a big way as a Center Point-Urbana sophomore in 2025. The linebacker/tight end came up with 44.5 tackles, 30 of which were of the solo variety. He produced six tackles for loss and a sack. On offense, he hauled in 5 balls for 155 yards (31.0 YPC) and a touchdown. Covington forced a couple of fumbles and intercepted a pass. He also contributed on special teams. He houses video highlights on his Hudl page from two games last fall. During the footage, the viewer sees a versatile linebacker capable of staying on receivers in coverage or getting downhill in a hurry against the run. Covington's projectable frame has plenty of room to fill out, adding muscle and strength. His long arms aid him in making tackles and producing tight windows in the passing game. They also help Covington threaten opponents as a two-way tight end with the ability to beat them as a receiver or make life difficult while blocking.

There's been a steady flow of Bruenings working their way through the Charles City program. Bill announced his arrival as a sophomore last season. The defensive back/running back collected 29.5 tackles, 17 of which were solo stops. He forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, intercepted a ball and defended three passes. Bruening averaged 16.4 yards on 10 kick returns and saw action on offense. He provides evidence as to how he gets the job done during his 10th-grade highlight video. He's a natural deep safety, identifying what the opponent is planning before the snap, communicating what he sees to teammates and doing his job. A good athlete with speed and lateral quickness, he blankets receivers in coverage. He also gets downhill in a hurry to stuff the running game. That pursuit is aided by him breaking down the ball carrier and delivering technically-sound form tackles. As good as Bruening was a sophomore, he has a chance to take a significant step forward this coming campaign.

Beelman impacted games in all three phases as a Keokuk sophomore in 2025. The defensive back/wide receiver came up with 18.5 tackles, nine of which were solo stops. He intercepted a pass and caught four balls for 23 yards. He kicked off a couple of times, made 10 of 14 extra-point attempts and handled the team's punting duties, averaging 30.1 yards on 21 tries. There's not much evidence of his exploits on-line, but his Hudl page does house clips from a few individual games last fall. Beelman is a good athlete that started for the basketball team as a 10th-grader this winter. On the gridiron, he's a versatile prospect in the secondary with capabilities to stick in coverage or support the run. His actions are fluid and usable speed is present. Beelman is a guy who could take a significant step forward in the fall.

Boggess reports running the 40-yard dash inn4.88 seconds, bench pressing 205 pounds, squatting 315 and hang cleaning 225. The athleticism and strength shows up on the football field, where he contributes in all three phases. The sophomore registered 16.0 tackles, 11 of which were solo stops. He also chipped in half a tackle for loss. Boggess completed one of his two throws for an 18-yard touchdown, and rushed nine times for 52 yards and a score. He also returned a kick and aided the cause elsewhere on special teams. His 10th-grade highlight video provides evidence as to how he gets the job done between the white lines. On it, we witness a guy who dices up defenses with his legs lining up at quarterback. Even when it's obvious he's going to run, the opponents find it difficult dealing with his speed and cutting ability. Boggess also shows power and toughness in breaking tackles. He throws a good ball, too, if teams overplay the run. Boggess flashes arm strength and comfort in throwing on the move. He's one to watch in 2026, for sure.
