Boggess reports running the 40-yard dash inn4.88 seconds, bench pressing 205 pounds, squatting 315 and hang cleaning 225. The athleticism and strength shows up on the football field, where he contributes in all three phases. The sophomore registered 16.0 tackles, 11 of which were solo stops. He also chipped in half a tackle for loss. Boggess completed one of his two throws for an 18-yard touchdown, and rushed nine times for 52 yards and a score. He also returned a kick and aided the cause elsewhere on special teams. His 10th-grade highlight video provides evidence as to how he gets the job done between the white lines. On it, we witness a guy who dices up defenses with his legs lining up at quarterback. Even when it’s obvious he’s going to run, the opponents find it difficult dealing with his speed and cutting ability. Boggess also shows power and toughness in breaking tackles. He throws a good ball, too, if teams overplay the run. Boggess flashes arm strength and comfort in throwing on the move. He’s one to watch in 2026, for sure.
