Division One Greenlight Series, 2027 Rankings Update, DL/OL/LBs

<p class="text-gray-700">6'4, 245 out of Upper Dauphin with a 3.4 GPA. Plays TE/FB in high school but I see a true defensive end long-term. Phenomenal wrestler, which shows up immediately in his leverage and hand usage. Picked up his first offer from Army West Point, which fits his profile perfectly. Recently visited Bucknell and Temple for spring practices, both strong fits as well. This is a surefire FCS-floor player with a Group of Five ceiling in my opinion. Some schools may push him toward TE, but I like him more as a defensive front piece. Should be ranked inside the Top 100, no question. Recruiting is trending the right way and should continue. Heavy experience on both sides of the ball with quality tape to back it up. Team captain for multiple seasons, which speaks to consistency and leadership. Picked up a Buffalo offer in January, a strong Group of Five signal. I see a future dominant FCS interior defensive lineman with real staying power. Power, mass, and experience all translate cleanly to the next level. This is a kid I identified early and he's only validated that belief. Surprised more FCS programs aren't already involved. Should have multiple opportunities at the next level. Clean D1 player with a high floor.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'0, 280 out of Penn Charter with a 3.6 GPA. One of the better interior defensive linemen in the state, ranked top ten at the position. Plays primarily as a 0-tech but has the ability to move across the front. Picked up his first D1 offer from Stony Brook in early March. Recently visited Columbia and Georgetown, high-academic programs that make sense. Shot put and 110m hurdler, which confirms the athleticism at his size. This is an FCS-floor player with room to rise depending on continued development. Strong mass and power profile that translates immediately. Can dominate at the high school level across multiple alignments. Recruiting is just getting started for him. High-academic FCS programs should be all over this profile.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'1, 225 out of Central Bucks South with a 3.1 GPA. Played RB but I see him as a linebacker/defensive end at the next level. Only appeared in six games last fall but still flashed serious upside. Picked up an offer from Navy back in February. Recently visited Holy Cross and Kutztown, both solid fits. Carries a running back build but plays like a defender. This is an FBS-caliber ceiling player if developed correctly. Natural instincts on defense stand out when you project him forward. Could still be recruited as an RB by some programs, but I prefer him on defense. Recruitment is trending in the right direction. One of the more interesting projection-based evals here.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'4, 280 with an 80-inch wingspan and a 4.1 GPA. One of the smartest prospects in this group academically. Picked up his first D1 offer from Maine on March 9th. Recently visited Lehigh and Temple, both strong academic fits. I've personally spoken to FCS programs about him and seen him play in person. Weight has jumped nearly 40 pounds since last update, which changes his projection. Could realistically be a future offensive tackle at the next level. If he's truly 280 now, that opens up an FBS ceiling on the OL side. Still very close to cracking the Top 100. Recruitment should continue to pick up quickly. True defensive end in my evaluation, but could absolutely play TE at the next level. Saw strong recruiting traction early in his career. Recently visited Lafayette and Villanova for spring practices. Recruitment has slowed slightly, but the tape still supports a D1 projection. This is an FCS-ceiling player with a solid floor at that level. Frame and athleticism translate well to either side of the ball. Needs a spark in recruiting, but the ability is still there. Tape provides enough evidence to stay confident in the eval. One of those players who could pop again quickly. Still firmly in the D1 conversation.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'0, 215 out of Chester HS. One of the most overlooked DL/ATH prospects in Pennsylvania right now. Seven sacks and nearly 20 TFLs, production is undeniable. Shot put, javelin, discus, and even runs the 100m, elite multi-sport profile. Ranked just outside the Top 100 and still unoffered, which is surprising. This is an FCS-floor player with positional flexibility. Can line up in multiple spots across a defense. Plays with physicality and athletic range that stands out. Should have multiple offers already, no question. One of the best unoffered players in Eastern PA. Recruitment needs to catch up immediately.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'1, 270 out of Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Interior defensive lineman all the way at the next level. Was once a Top 75 player and still carries that type of talent. Strong weight room numbers and two-sport background. This is a Group of Five ceiling player in my opinion. Moves extremely well for an interior defender. One of the better chase-down IDLs in the state. Creates real disruption in the pocket. Had a strong season and should continue trending upward. No doubt D1 player regardless of current recruiting status.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'3, 260 out of Steelton-Highspire. One of the more puzzling recruiting situations right now. Former Top 100 player who still shows strong tape. Currently unoffered, which doesn't match the ability. Has the size and strength profile to play at the next level. I still see an FCS trajectory for him if things break right. Needs continued development physically to maximize potential. Adding weight while maintaining production will be key. I've only heard positive things about him as a person and player. Still a Top 150 player in my evaluation. Elite student first, athlete second, which matters heavily. Has a 6'8 wingspan, rare length for his size. Likely a linebacker at the next level, but has shown flashes along the defensive front. Track participant, which helps confirm athletic profile. Was close to seeing him in person at the PRZ PA Winter Showcase. Currently unoffered but carries an FCS ceiling in my eyes. Can be molded into multiple defensive roles. Length and intelligence make him intriguing. Needs exposure and evaluation opportunities. One of the better academic-athlete combos in this group.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Recently transferred to the Hun School in New Jersey, which is a major move for his development. One of my favorite defensive linemen in this class, no hesitation there. I'm going to let the NJ staff handle the full re-evaluation and profile transfer after this article drops. That said, the tools and traits that made him stand out in PA don't just disappear. This is still a D1-caliber defensive lineman with real upside. The competition jump should only help his recruitment. Projection remains firmly in the FCS-to-FBS conversation depending on how he develops at Hun. This is a name that should continue trending up once fully re-evaluated.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'5, 287 out of New Oxford, one of the better unoffered players in the entire state. Mentioned alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1180776' first='Zyon' last='Santana'] for a reason, both should have offers already. Massive athlete with legit strength, nearly 600 squat and 365 bench. Obvious OL translation, but I really like him as a DL/DE fit. Looks the part physically and plays with power. Currently ranked inside the Top 200 and that feels right. This is a clear FCS-ceiling defensive lineman. Surprised recruiting hasn't picked up more aggressively yet. Schools should be pushing for him right now. One of the more overlooked big bodies in PA.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'3, 235 out of Germantown Academy, 3.0 GPA. Plays 3-tech but brings a linebacker-type movement profile. Build doesn't scream traditional DL, which makes him interesting. Six sacks on the year shows real production. Can move in space better than most at his size. Ranked outside the Top 200, but I wouldn't be surprised if that changes. This is a projection-based D1-type athlete. Local D2 programs should absolutely be all over him. Needs a program willing to get creative with his role. Someone will take a chance here. Currently labeled as a DL but I see OLB or even TE potential. Multi-sport athlete with basketball and track background. Saw him in person last fall and the tape backs it up. Ranked inside the Top 250 and that feels fair. Recently picked up junior day invites from Wagner and Brown, both solid fits. This is an FCS-level projection if development continues. Tape is better than what you'd expect from a pure measurables standpoint. GPA might limit some options slightly. Still a recruitable athlete with real upside. Needs continued exposure.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'1, 315 out of State College, 3.66 GPA. Low D1 grade from me, with FCS being the realistic level right now. True nose tackle projection if he maintains this size. Powerful interior presence who can move bodies consistently. 6'3 wingspan adds to his effectiveness inside. Recently visited Villanova and Bucknell for spring practices. Second State College DL on this list, and that group is legit. Would be a steal for a strong D2 program out west. Tape shows consistent interior disruption. Not flashy, but effective. Solid D1-caliber interior piece.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'4, 240, 3.0 GPA. Clear EDGE/DE projection with room to grow physically. Could even slide inside if developed the right way. Currently unoffered, which is surprising given the frame and tools. This is an FCS-ceiling player in my evaluation. D2 programs would be getting a steal right now. Needs a strong senior stretch to get things moving. Athletic upside is the main selling point. Unsure about current recruiting traction, but that needs to change. Coaches should be taking a closer look. One of those late riser candidates.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'1, 220 out of Belle Vernon, 3.75 GPA. Top 250 player with no offers yet to my knowledge. Has experience playing multiple positions, which adds value. I gave him an FCS-ceiling grade and I stand by it. Tape and build both support that projection. Recently visited UConn, IUP, and Marshall for spring practices. That level of exposure is a good sign. Needs to stay patient as recruitment develops. This is a D1-type athlete who just needs the right opportunity. Coaches will come around. One of the better under-the-radar bigs in the state. Belmont Charter historically doesn't get heavy recruiting attention, which hurts exposure. That's not a reflection of his ability. Can play LT, but I like him more as an interior DL/DT. This is an FCS-ceiling player in my eyes. Should have East Coast FCS programs calling. Frame and size alone make him intriguing. Needs visibility more than development right now. Coaches should be doing homework here. Top 250 senior type of player.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">6'3, 210, 3.7 GPA. Sits just outside the Top 250 but carries an FCS-ceiling grade. Testing numbers are strong across the board, 4.40 speed, 9'7 broad, 4.21 shuttle. Put up 225x14 on bench, 315 max, 415 squat. Saw him score three touchdowns in person, legit athlete. Future position is the big question. Too big for RB long-term in my opinion. I like him as an OLB/DE type at the next level. Athletic profile supports that transition. Would not be surprised if he becomes a D1 player soon.
