for a reason, both should have offers already. Massive athlete with legit strength, nearly 600 squat and 365 bench. Obvious OL translation, but I really like him as a DL/DE fit. Looks the part physically and plays with power. Currently ranked inside the Top 200 and that feels right. This is a clear FCS-ceiling defensive lineman. Surprised recruiting hasn’t picked up more aggressively yet. Schools should be pushing for him right now. One of the more overlooked big bodies in PA.

- I should do a better job scouting New Oxford, this is a prospect whose profile should have been created months ago. 6’4, 280 pounds. Impressive weight room lifting numbers, S 455, B 315, C 245.
- Has a sophomore tape that was posted in April, much too late for ranking consideration. A new name created and added to our database, this because of his intriguing build/frame. Covington only has one TFL on Hudl that comes from the 2025 Fall season. To earn a ranking on our site, he’s going to have to show more via Hudl. I’m excited to learn more, however. It’s evident Covington is worth digging into, I’ll show patience here.

Travis Covington Travis Covington 6'4" | 280 lbs | DL/OL New Oxford | 2027 State PA is an impressive defensive tackle. He has great size (6’4″) and strength. He gets off the ball quickly as he is a disruptive force as a defensive tackle. He shows good athleticism as he is disruptive inside as a defensive tackle. He also has a motor that never quits as he chases and plays all over the field. Covington is a good defensive tackle who has the skills to get even better next season.
