It was an outstanding weekend of 7v7 football action in Murfreesboro as a long list of talented teams battled it out in Music City Mayhem. After catching the 18U division at Oakland High School, it's time to break down some of the top performers from day two of the tournament. Without any further ado, here's my list of Sunday's top 18U standouts.

In the first place spot on my list is Ashton Taylor, a wide receiver for Indy Select South 18U that made a number of impressive plays throughout the tournament. Taylor's explosive movement and ability to beat the defense down the stretch played a huge role in his success. I also really liked Taylor's ability to execute his routes with ease and instantly get open for the touchdown pass. This talented running back out of the Bluegrass State has serious D1 potential.

I was additionally impressed with Jeremiah Jones, a wide receiver for TMP OH Gold 18U that stood out on Sunday's slate of games. This talented rising star out of the state of Ohio had outstanding size and a great wingspan. I also really liked how Jones could haul in those challenging passes in crunch time. Jones also stood out with his versatility in the endzone, proving he could elevate off the ground to catch the touchdown pass.

Also catching my eye was Caleb Brown, a wide receiver for Rip City Legends that made his presence known on Sunday. This talented playmaker out of the state of Iowa impressed me with his ability to be physical in the backfield and get open within a second's notice for the touchdown pass. Brown also has excellent size and a great wingspan, which helped him to be very productive this past weekend.

Another player to make a difference was Gabriel Noyola, a wide receiver for Playmakers Elite 18U that caught my attention on Sunday afternoon with his ability to put points on the scoreboard. Noyola was an efficient scoring weapon, proving his ability to beat the defense from along the edge and get wide open for the touchdown pass. I also really liked how Noyola could juke out the defense to get open for the short pass.

Another prospect to establish himself was RaMaun (Ray Ray) North, an athlete for Southern Kentucky Elite 18U that impressed me defensively. North has outstanding awareness, proving his ability to read the offense like a book and elevate off the ground to haul in the clutch interception. North also excelled at locking down receivers in the backfield, using his size, strength and long arms to shut down passing lanes.

I also really liked what I saw from [player_tooltip player_id='1142009' first='Caleb' last='Shin'], a wide receiver for Savages 18U that was unstoppable down the stretch. Shin's electric speed off the snap and his ability to quickly get open made a huge difference all weekend long. I really liked how Shin could consistently get open from along the edge and use his footwork to deceive the defense and get open for the touchdown pass.

Another playmaker to establish himself was [player_tooltip player_id='2097825' first='Noah' last='Harper'], a wide receiver for Next Generation Select 18U that went off in yesterday's tournament. Harper did a great job creating seperation down the stretch as he hauled in a number of impressive deep passes throughout the weekend. Harper's athleticism and versatile edge really helped him in the endzone as he was able to stay open and use his speed to beat the defense to the ball.

Also establishing himself was [player_tooltip player_id='1657131' first='J.R.' last='French'], a wide receiver for X3 Impact 18U that was locked in from start to finish on Sunday. I really liked how French could deceive the defense with his footwork, showcasing his ability to get wide open for the touchdown pass. I also really liked how French could move around in the backfield, using his size and speed to get away from the defense and immediately get open for the deep pass.

One of the top offensive playmakers of the weekend was [player_tooltip player_id='2141286' first='Griffin' last='Gagliano'], a wide receiver for Savages 18U that was truly unstoppable down the stretch. Gagliano was highly explosive off the snap, proving his ability to withstand heavy coverage in the endzone. Gagliano also did a great job of getting open in a moment's notice, hauling in multiple touchdowns over the course of the weekend. This rising star out of the Nashville area has serious potential.

Another defensive playmaker that impressed me was [player_tooltip player_id='1607226' first='Jaylen' last='Mays'], a defensive back for Savages 18U that made a number of impressive plays on Sunday's slate of contests. Mays was an interception machine, picking off several defenses over the course of the weekend. Mays was also extremely quick on his feet and could read the offense like a book. This is a rising talent out of the Nashville area that colleges should get to know.

Also impressing me was [player_tooltip player_id='1974232' first='Garrett' last='Davis'], a wide receiver for Quarterboys 18U that made a number of impressive plays offensively on Sunday. Davis did a great job running his routes and was especially sound at beating the defense to the ball. Davis was a reliable passing target in crunch time, proving his ability to muscle his way to the ball and absorb contact as he jumps up for the touchdown pass.

Also worth mentioning is [player_tooltip player_id='2151174' first='Aiden' last='Garcia'], a defensive back for Next Generation Select 18U that stood out during Sunday's competition. I really liked how Garcia could adapt and react to the offense, diving to the ground to haul in the interception. The talented defensive playmaker out of the Clarksville area also did a really good job of locking down his man in the backfield, proving he can do it all on the defensive side of the ball.

Another playmaker that impressed me was [player_tooltip player_id='2134374' first='Tristan' last='Andrelski'], a wide receiver for X3 Impact 18U that played extremely well down the stretch on Sunday's slate of contests. I liked how Andrelski could beat the defense to the ball and elevate off the ground to haul in the touchdown pass. Andrelski's excellent size and electric speed off the snap helped him to shine this past weekend.

I also really liked what I saw from [player_tooltip player_id='2132916' first='Jose' last='Cruz'], a defensive back for SupaSet Elite 18U that impressed me in the backfield. I really liked how Cruz could lock down receivers and shut down the pass, using his defensive awareness to keep the opposition off the scoreboard. I also really liked how Abner handled himself under pressure, proving his ability to remain composed and complete the clutch touchdown pass.

Also catching my attention was Jeremiah Prince, a wide receiver for Next Generation Select 18U that stood out on Sunday with his ability to make the clutch play. Prince was locked in offensively, using his speed and catching ability to lead his team to a close victory over a very good team. The rising sophomore is definitely a talent in the Volunteer State that colleges should take a look at as he continues to develop.

Another player that caught my attention was Dashawn Dean, a wide receiver for Next Level Chicago that dominated in Sunday's contests. I really liked Dean's explosiveness at receiver, proving his ability to get up off the ground to haul in the touchdown pass. Dean also impressed me with how he could juke out the defense off the snap and get open in the backfield for the long ball.

Also dominating on Sunday was Trintin Martin, a wide receiver for DMG Elite 18U that stood with his strong catching ability as well as his ability to withstand heavy contact in the backfield. I also really liked how Martin played on the short pass, using his speed to quickly find an opening to haul in the short pass. This rising talent out of Mississippi played very well in Murfreesboro this weekend.

Another player to make his presence known was Jaron Anderson, a wide receiver for Next Generation Select 18U that made a number of impressive catches on Sunday. I really liked how Anderson could hustle and dive for the ball, showing off his athleticism and ability to be productive on the offensive end. Anderson also stood out with his size and wingspan, proving he could body the defense to get open for the deep pass.
