was one of the more impressive athletes who attended the Kentucky State football camp over the weekend, resulting in an offer from KSU WR coach Lavell Meeks. During the measurables, North tested a 4.90 and 4.91 in the 40-yard dash. His 4.32 pro shuttle and 106 score in the broad jump were both above average as well. He enters his senior season having caught 61 passes for 923 yards and seven touchdowns. North added six interceptions on the defensive end of the ball as well. A big-time senior season is expected for him at Warren Central, and he has an opportunity to play football at the next level.
North is a two-way player who really broke out as a receiver and emerged as a major part of the offense. He has good hands and speed and has shown he could handle a lot of targets. He finished with 61 catches for 923 yards and 7 TDs, showing both production and consistency throughout the season. I think one of the most impressive parts of his game is his ability to handle a lot of targets without his effectiveness dropping off. The breakout season was no accident, and he looks like a player capable of building on that success.
Another prospect to establish himself was RaMaun (Ray Ray) North, an athlete for Southern Kentucky Elite 18U that impressed me defensively. North has outstanding awareness, proving his ability to read the offense like a book and elevate off the ground to haul in the clutch interception. North also excelled at locking down receivers in the backfield, using his size, strength and long arms to shut down passing lanes.
SOKY Elite’s Ra’Maun North was one of the more intriguing upperclassmen we evaluated over the weekend. The 2027 prospect brings a long, lanky 6’2 frame that immediately creates matchup issues, and he consistently uses that length to his advantage. His leaping ability and timing on jump balls stood out, giving him a wide catch radius and making him a tough cover in contested situations. North also flashed his athleticism with reps at safety, showing the kind of versatility and range that add to his overall value as a two-way talent with D1 upside in our eyes.

is off to a very impressive start to his junior year as he is currently the 5A receiving leader with 33 receptions for 546 yards and six touchdowns in five games. He is a versatile receiver who has shown the ability to play both on the outside and in the slot. North is a dangerous deep threat who uses his speed to run by opposing defensive backs with ease. He is also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains at any given moment. North has also made an impact on defense this season, recording four tackles and three interceptions (tied for 5A lead) this season. RaMaun doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should have their eyes on over the next two seasons.
