At this point in the recruiting process, we know who the top guys may be and who sits under the radar, waiting for those elusive offers. Here we begin a new series that starts to look at the top prospects from each position that have yet to be offered but have the potential to obtain them somewhere down the road.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='2058759' first='Thomas' last='Manu'] - Alcoa

- Playing for one of the top programs in the state while coming off helping earn a state title, you would think Manu may have more interest at this point but the offers have yet to arrive. If the Tornadoes quarterback was two to three inches taller, those elusive offers would have already arrived but Manu stands about 5 '10, so he doesn't have the ideal size wanted by college staffs. Let me tell you that this guy is legit and I think his best football days are ahead of him. Manu is a gamer, a leader, a hard nosed competitor that knows how to succeed. He sports clean mechanics with enough arm power to get the job done. I'm interested to see how he performs in camps this summer and if he does well, those wanted offers will start to come his way.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1422904' first='Kason' last='Young'] - East Robertson

- A multi-year starter with a lot of experience, Young is one of the top dual threat prospects we have from the TN2027 class that is still waiting for the offers to arrive but is definitely worthy of more interest. The Indians senior signal caller brings a unique skill set to the field as Young displays good arm talent combined with dual threat capabilities that translate well to the college game. This guy is a playmaker behind center that knows how to make winning plays while providing that certain toughness that his teammates rally around. Young is undersized and that's the biggest factor behind the lack of offers. I see someone here that plays bigger than his size due to his mental makeup and natural athletic abilities. His work this summer in camp will go a long way towards achieving those elusive college offers.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1590252' first='Austin' last='Jones'] - Red Bank

- The Lions might have the most athletic and fastest quarterbacks coming out of our senior class. That's some strong traits to have but Jones must combine his athleticism along with pure passing attributes to become the kind of signal caller wanted for the college level. I think he can do it as Jones has a lot of physical abilities and traits that can be molded into a quality college quarterback. This Chattanooga area senior will need time to form into the kind of quarterback he needs to be and I think those are factors behind why Jones doesn't have the offers right now. His development this off-season will be critical towards obtaining the college interest he lacks. What he does in camps this summer will go a long way as will his performance throughout his senior season when it comes to gaining those elusive offers.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='446208' first='Cayden' last='Creech'] - USJ

- Coming off his first year as a full time starter, Creech is a true pocket passer that brings good mechanics to the field along with deceptive athleticism that I think can be molded on the next level into a serviceable quarterback. Playing on the D2-Class A may be hindering his recruiting process right now, especially when you combine it with how much work Creech has left to go before he reaches his maximum potential. What this West Tennessee product needs to show during camp season and into his senior year is better arm power and more mobility. He also needs to enhance his release and make it quicker. If he can do those things, Creech will see an increase of interest and watch his stock go higher. I like this kid and what he can do on the football field. He just needs to keep working and developing every aspect of his game.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1104268' first='Kaden' last='Long'] - Knox. Central

- One of the better dual threat quarterbacks we have within our senior class, Long is coming off a stellar junior year that showed vast improvements in multiple areas along with that winning trait that helped his Bobcats team towards a sensational season. What could be holding college staffs back from extending offers is that they need to see further development with Long's mechanics and his overall passing attack. The dual threat abilities are in place for Long to eventually become an impactful player but if he can enhance his passing, the Bobcats signal caller could form into a high level starter. His work in camps this summer and throughout his senior year will go a long way towards boosting his stock and bringing in those offers I know this East Tennessee talent is working for.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='2089183' first='Xavier' last='Randolph'] - Giles Co.

- Randolph is flying way under the radar right now and someone to keep tabs on this summer and into the Fall football season. This Mid-Tennessee product has a lot to like about his future on the next level but only if the Bobcats quarterback can get bigger while continuing to increase his skill set that may warrant offers down the road. What I like about Randolph and his future in college is the guy's arm talent. You can see good arm strength and zip on film along with the ability to put the ball into small windows. Randolph may actually be one of the more underrated passers we have in our senior class and someone that could have longevity on the college stage. More time is needed to develop his body and skill set but Randolph definitely has tools that could be molded in a college starter one day.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1142033' first='Sam' last='Bradley'] - Cascade

- A true hidden gem that may turn out to be a multi-year starter on the college level, Bradley is a strong armed, clean mechanic passer that brings a lot of good tools to the playing field that coaches can work with and mold. Reading that statement above, you would think the Champions signal caller would hold multiple offers but he doesn't and probably a factor in why is because Bradley competes on a low level of high school football while also not having the ideal size. All that is justifiable but this Mid-Tennessee product can sling it and I believe he will only get better as he continues to grow and mature. Bradley is a smart young man that shows passing traits like throwing into windows that are seen on the college stage. I think in the end, he will hold multiple offers and begin his path towards hopefully one day becoming a college starter.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1759477' first='Malcolm' last='Jack'] - Southwind

- Transferring to Southwind to play his senior season, Jack is an under the radar quarterback prospect that is still learning his position and forming his body but the passing tools are there to become quite serviceable on the collegiate gridiron. When you turn on his junior film, you see good mechanics with a nice release as well as arm power that can become stronger over time. What is holding back coaches from extending offers is probably the need for Jack to get bigger within his frame while showing quicker body movements and more zip on his passes. If he can enhance those traits throughout these off-season months and showcase it during his senior season, the Jaguars signal caller could see an influx of interest and offers.

Five Other Non-Offered QB's

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1588080' first='Kason' last='Woodson'] - Springfield: Woodson showed flashes of college potential last Fall but is still far from a finished product. This dual threat quarterback has the physical build and athletic tools to develop nicely in college but Woodson must continue developing his arm and overall knowledge to make an impact on the next level.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1535793' first='Colton' last='Overbey'] - Station Camp: If Overbey was three inches taller, he might already hold several offers but he is still waiting on them to arrive. It may take time for those elusive offers to come through but the Bison quarterback is worth a look due to his gamer like mentality and dual threat abilities that tend to end in positive gains.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='2071467' first='Chase' last='Angell'] - Goodpasture: The Cougars have a shot to be difference makers this Fall season with Angell at the helm driving the ship. He showed vast improvement during his junior season that now has him on the map to be considered a college level prospect. Angell will need to continue showing progression this off-season and into the Fall year but he appears to be on the right track.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1535791' first='Brody' last='Sparks'] - Oak Ridge: A multi-year starter that has thrown for a lot of yards, Sparks is a true pocket passer that doesn't have a lot of college interest right now but could change that with a strong summer camp season. Increasing his accuracy and arm power will go a long way towards gaining more college interest and potentially obtaining offers.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1104293' first='Blake' last='Waldorf'] - Friendship Chrst.: Waldorf is another true pocket passer that displays the arm talent that can be developed further in college to potentially become a next level starter one day. Watching his progression, I have seen improvement with his body movements and release, which tells me he is inching closer towards obtaining college interest and offers.
