[player_tooltip player_id='409921' first='Derrick' last='Baker'] is one of the better players in the state when it comes to the high school scene. This is due to his great growth and development of throwing when he is on the run, but he is also one of the better players when it comes to arm strength as well. He is currently committed to go play football at the University of Tennessee, and is one of the better players committed in their class. Baker is one to keep an eye on, as he is one who could eventually be named as the best quarterback in the state when it comes to the class of 2027. He has a ton of talent, and the Milton Eagles will be in great hands.

The Rome Wolves are in great hands, as the talented gunslinger has done everything right this offseason. He went from being underrated to now being a Duke verbal pledge. McPherson is a rare mix of arm strength and speed. His frame isn't favorable, which is the only thing holding him back, but the season is quickly approaching, and it is safe to say that he will be one of the players worth watching, as he is already in the top-five, but it would come as no shock if he finds a way to crack the top-3 in my opinion. Keep an eye on this gunslinger.

[player_tooltip player_id='616359' first='Savoy' last='Nichols'] is in a great spot when it comes to the new season, as he is getting the chance to be the signal caller for Creekside High School. This is a team that just won the state championship, so expectations will be a bit high. His great frame allows him to take a ton of focus when it comes to the game plan, as he is one who can't be left without pressure. He will be a guy that will need to be contained, as if he gets in his rhythm, everyone will be in bad shape.

[player_tooltip player_id='1096362' first='Lyndon' last='Worthy'] is just barely inside the top-10, which is enough for me to keep tabs on him. He has a ton of talent and can be viewed as one of the better players in the state, as he is looking to take his team quite a distance this season. He is one of the more underrated gunslingers in the state, as in many others, he would be a top-five presence. I'm mostly paying attention to his decision-making and how quickly he looks on the field when it comes to eyeing down the routes he needs to hit.

For the first time in three years, there will not be a gunslinger with the last name "Raiola" in town, as both Dylan and Dayton are now off to college and with the Oregon Ducks. Hunter is one of the more intriguing players, as he will have the most pressure out of anyone on this list. That being as the wolves didn't just win the state title, but also the national championship. Hunter has all the talent one could want, and if he is given the opportunity to succeed, he will. Make sure to keep tabs on him.
