Lyndon Worthy Lyndon Worthy 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB Worth County | 2027 State GA is just barely inside the top-10, which is enough for me to keep tabs on him. He has a ton of talent and can be viewed as one of the better players in the state, as he is looking to take his team quite a distance this season. He is one of the more underrated gunslingers in the state, as in many others, he would be a top-five presence. I’m mostly paying attention to his decision-making and how quickly he looks on the field when it comes to eyeing down the routes he needs to hit.

Tall, paper-thin prospect. Has contributed on varsity since freshman season. Real easy arm talent. Effortlessly attacks each LOF with drive and touch. Looks to have a good feel for trajectory. Good composure in the pocket. Might not offer much as a runner, but wouldn’t consider him a poor athlete either. Already impresses with his arm and has room to add more mass and horsepower. Holds Troy offer. Listed at 6’3 175 now.

The most productive 2027 quarterback across the state last year, Worthy is a promising quarterback from Albany who lit up the stat sheet last year as a sophomore. The lean 6-foot-3 170-pounder made big throws on a consistent basis, throwing for an impressive 3,408 yards and 37 touchdowns. A true gunslinger who plays with big-time confidence, Worthy deserved a rankings boost after his big 2024 season. He’s now ranked as the No. 6 QB and the No, 76 overall prospect in the state for the 2027 class.

Worthy is a highly prolific QB who has produced since his freshman season. He is super long and lanky, offering plenty of room for growth. He plays with good mechanics in the pocket, stepping into his throws and climbing to evade pressure. Worthy has plenty of life on the ball, but does an excellent job of manipulating touch and dropping the ball into hard to reach areas. He flashes some toughness when hanging back in the pocket as well. Worthy can drop the ball on a dime and should start sneaking onto some recruiting boards.
