The sky is the limit for the kid from Milton High School, and if things go well, he will be moving up the rankings.

This is due to his great growth and development of throwing when he is on the run, but he is also one of the better players when it comes to arm strength as well. He is currently committed to go play football at the University of Tennessee, and is one of the better players committed in their class. Baker is one to keep an eye on, as he is one who could eventually be named as the best quarterback in the state when it comes to the class of 2027. He has a ton of talent, and the Milton Eagles will be in great hands.

Making a jump to the No. 4 QB prospect in the state, Baker is also the state’s No. 32 overall prospect in the 2027 class with the potential to have a giant final season for the mighty Milton Eagles in 2026. He brings good size, runs hard when making plays with his legs, and natural arm talent and the ability to make throws all over the field. He throws with touch, plays with poise, and has easy Power Four talent as he’s committed to play for the Tennessee Vols. Playing under an outstanding Milton staff, Baker has the talent needed to possibly light up the scoreboard all season long for the Eagles this fall.

Baker is going to be phenomenal in college and will be a top player when it comes to the season, but first, it is important to note that he is one of the better performers from the event. He did well in almost every drill and is still expected to grow within the system. He is fresh off an injury to his hand that hosts a pretty brutal scar, but he is only getting stronger throughout the reps that he is taking. I believe Baker is one of the best in the state, and I can confidently back that up.

The team he played for is C1N, a team run by NFL superstar Cam Newton. Baker was phenomenal and proved that he is one of the better quarterbacks in the state. Now he will have a chance to show it yet again, as he is set to compete at the Elite 11. The Tennessee Volunteers quarterback commit is one I’m watching at the event.

In the 2025 opener against Buford, Baker showed flashes of his potential completing 6 of 15 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown while adding 78 rushing yards before suffering a hand injury that sidelined him for most of the season. With limited tape from last fall, his junior campaign became more about patience and recovery than production, but those who’ve followed his development know the tools are there. At 6-2, 235 pounds, Baker brings rare size, toughness and dual-threat ability to the quarterback position.

Now healthy and heading into his final high school season, Baker’s senior year is shaping up to be a redemption tour.
