Meintzer caught my eye last spring, fast forward a year, and his inevitable breakout is here. He is bigger than he was last year, and he will only continue to grow. In my opinion, there is a good chance he ends up being a TE. He uses his sheer size and strength to set the tone against DBs. He is a physical tone setter and dragged his way into the end zone for a TD. He is raw, but he is close, and I think he has a big year ahead of him.

A sure-handed wideout with size, strong hands, and the ability to get open on his own, Meintzer was an easy addition to the latest 2027 Prep Redzone rankings after impressive last season for the Milton Eagles. He didn’t necessarily light up the stat sheet, but when the ball came his way, Meintzer knew how to make a play on it. He tracks the ball well, is an above-average route-runner, and has easy D1-caliber talent. The 6-foot-3 200-pounder hauled in just 17 passes for 274 yards and four touchdowns last season, but those numbers should increase in a big way this fall as a senior. Now, Meintzer is ranked by Prep Redzone as one of the top returning receivers in the region.
