The month of February has brought with it a strong month of recruiting attention on Indiana prospects. So many opportunities have been extended that we felt it was necessary to break down the past couple of weeks of recruiting buzz in the Hoosier State. Here are five prospects blowing up in a big way.

College programs are finally taking note of [player_tooltip player_id='1630653' first='Ben' last='Davis'] safety [player_tooltip player_id='1667351' first='Keontay' last='Toomer']. During the contact period, he picked up offers from Miami-Ohio, Missouri and Eastern Michigan, but more Power 4 teams are expressing interest having earned offers from Louisville, Iowa State, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Toomer stood out to me at the Colts 11-On 7v7 tournament last summer for his size, coverage abilities and quick closing speed.

Perhaps no one has seen his recruitment blow up better than Noblesville offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1708630' first='Caleb' last='Johnson']. Purdue, Western Kentucky, Toledo, North Carolina and Missouri have jumped in on the action for the 6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive tackle who is a very physical and tough run blocker who drives his feet on contact. College coaches undoubtedly covet his lean and athletic frame.

The offers have been pouring in for Johnson's teammate at Noblesville: offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1408932' first='Mason' last='McDermott']. The 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive lineman has picked up offers from West Virginia, UCLA, UConn and Stanford over the past month. McDermott is a very good in pass pro, drives his feet on contact and plays with tremendous effort.

Northrop edge [player_tooltip player_id='1862988' first='Ifeanyi' last='Emedobi'] started playing football just 11 months ago, and it's a choice he will certainly not regret. Emedobi is a very good pass rusher who has stood out at offseason camps and workouts. Minnesota, Cincinnati, Illinois, and Kansas are some of his offers, but lately he has earned opportunities from Wisconsin and South Florida. With his lean, athletic frame and huge wingspan, expect more to come for this twitchy pass rusher.

Penn High School wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1007050' first='Brayson' last='Hurley'] is finally landing some much-deserve doffers. Hurley picked up offers from Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Miami-Ohio and Illinois State, all over the past month. He had a breakout junior season, recording 50 catches for 1,048 yards and 12 total touchdowns. Hurley has great long speed, wins one-on-one battles, and is a great route runner who can create separation on his own on the perimeter.
