Deep-Dive on Four New Indiana 2028 Ranking Additions

We added hundreds of prospects to our rankings in Indiana last month for the Class of 2028. In our next article and multi-part series, we break down four new additions and will continue to do so throughout the months of February and March. These four early risers have a chance to become high-impact players in the fall and beyond.    [player_tooltip player_id='2033833' first='McCoy' last='Wilson'] is a starting Class of 2028 safety for Greenfield Central and the 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect has the goods. Wilson plays very well in space, takes great angles to the ball and wraps up. He is a good tackler in the open field and stout run defender. Wilson has good closing speed and range, too. He also has a history of playing running back and flashes good hands on offense.     [player_tooltip player_id='2119927' first='Cooper' last='Melvin'] is a starting quarterback for Westfield. In 2025, Melvin split duties during Westfield's run to Lucas Oil Stadium and the 6A state champion. In 2026, expect his role to evolve: Melvin is a mobile, legitimate dual-threat prospect with a quick release and a live arm. He is the younger brother of Bowling Green State quarterback Carsen Melvin.     [player_tooltip player_id='2055595' first='Dallas' last='Terrill'] is a starting defensive ned for South Dearborn and the 6-foot-0, 215-pound edge has the goods. Terrill takes great angles to the quarterback as a pass rusher and is very good in pursuit. He flashes good first-step quickness, takes great pursuit angles and wraps up. He can knife through the LOS and take on double-team blocks effectively, and has a very high motor. Could be a fast riser during college camps.     [player_tooltip player_id='2113270' first='Landon' last='Hickman'] is a starting Class of 2028 linebacker for Hamilton Heights, and he flashes plenty of potential. Hickman is a stout run defender at the point-of-attack and takes great angles to ballcarriers. Hickman can stick his nose in a pile, wrap-up and make good open-field tackles.
