Five offensive players in the state of Iowa that are worth an offer from a Division I program but haven't received one yet.

One of my favorite under-the-radar prospects in this class, [player_tooltip player_id='1616459' first='Drew' last='Bennis'] is a speed demon with excellent ball skills. A "screw it, he's down there somewhere" and a weapon his QB can trust to catch the ball on a short route or a screen and take it to the house, Bennis a dual-threat pass-catcher that any FCS program in the Midwest would be glad they took a shot on.

This fall, he led Prairie in receiving yards, grabbing 27 catches for 522 yards and four touchdowns. Also a weapon in the return game, Bennis returned ten kicks for 300 yards and a touchdown, as well as ten punts for 202 yards and a score.

One of the better quarterbacks in northwest Iowa, [player_tooltip player_id='1848693' first='Ezra' last='Hibma'] nearly took Sioux Center to the UNI-Dome this fall before falling to eventual state runner-up, Bishop Heelan.

Hibma has a bit of an unorthodox throwing motion, not going fully through the typical up-and-over, part of the throw, but it gets the job done. With what appears to be an effortless deep ball, Hibma throws catchable passes and gives his receivers the opportunity to go make a play on it. This fall, he completed 110-of-187 passes for 1,675 yards, 21 touchdowns and five picks.

A little on the shorter side, standing at just 6-foot-1, Hibma makes up for his lack of height with mobility in and out of the pocket, showing the ability to take off and run -- and not only do that, but break tackles in the process, too. On the ground, he took 92 carries for 484 and seven scores.

An explosive, do-it-all back that can take a carry between the tackles, grab a checkdown and take it 20+ yards down the field and help in pass-protection, [player_tooltip player_id='1616438' first='Emri' last='Jones'] is worth a spot on a Division I roster. Playing with a mixture of agility and violence out of the backfield for Johnston, Jones is a decisive runner that takes advantage of the holes cultivated by his offensive line, and he creates plays for himself.

This fall, he took 182 carries for 811 yards and 11 touchdowns. Through the air, he caught 14 passes for 151 yards and a score. He'll be one of his quarterback's primary targets next season as the Dragons do their best to make it to Cedar Falls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1361134' first='Ethan' last='La Cava'] has already shown some incredibly encouraging things without getting a single varsity start under his belt. The backup to [player_tooltip player_id='401674' first='Joey' last='Nahas'] this fall as Dowling made their run to the 5A state championship, La Cava not only has the physical attributes he needs to be a Division I quarterback, but some of the traits that translate to success at that level.

La Cava shows the ability to hit a receiver in stride consistently. Without forcing a pass-catcher to slow down or adjust to a ball, the junior makes for a QB other skill position players love to work with. A mobile QB that can take off and run if he has to, La Cava evades evades pressure well while keeping his eyes downfield. He should be in line for a breakout senior campaign, after he completed 9-of-19 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in garbage time this fall.

After catching just one pass during his sophomore campaign, [player_tooltip player_id='2048995' first='Logan' last='Van Den Broek'] burst onto the scene this fall for a senior-laden Pella squad, making him one of few 2027s to be critical in their run to a state runner-up finish in 4A. A big pass-catcher at 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds, Van Den Broek was a tough cover for linebackers because of his speed and a tough cover for defensive backs because of his size. A go-up-and-get-it pass-catcher in the redzone and an over-the-middle target, Van Den Broek could be in line for a major uptick in production in 2026.

In 2025, he caught 27 passes for 546 yards and seven touchdowns.
