Things I want to see at the Virginia Showcase Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are less than a week away from our third annual Virginia Stock Up Showcase, this Saturday at the Michael and Sons Sportsplex in Sterling, we are set to have close to 120 kids on site! It appears that our buddies from Fairmont State are back in charge again and we have plenty of talent registered. I will be on site with Vic Castillo and Ed O'Brien here are a few items I will have my eye on:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>How will the quarterbacks fare?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We have some of the top ranked quarterbacks from Maryland and Virginia set to attend, it will be curious to see how they do throwing to new receivers. This venue will give the qbs plenty of room to throw vertically but they will need to careful with any deep shot due to the building set up. Andrew Lewis, Deacon Skogen, [player_tooltip player_id='1311687' first='Owen' last='Neal'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1311702' first='Camden' last='Metzger'] were recently ranked in the 2027 top 125, each one received a rankings boost. We also have top ranked 2029 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1748568' first='Cole' last='Dunham'] and highly regarded out of the Covenant School [player_tooltip player_id='2071659' first='Noah' last='Estes'] (2028). The quarterbacks will have a lot of speed to work with, standing out in this group will not be easy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Who will test the best?</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For those not aware we typically test on drills such as the 40, Shuttle, Broad and L Jump, this will be the first thing kids do after warming up. Amongst those I expect to test well are the Loudoun Sports Academy stars [player_tooltip player_id='1311696' first='Desai' last='Ferrell'], [player_tooltip player_id='1303905' first='Aamir' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1176255' first='Elijah' last='Henderson']. Zayden 2k Burks and [player_tooltip player_id='1664154' first='Dillan' last='Wickham'] should both be fun to watch coming off their absurd junior seasons. Who will have the best 40? Broad Jump? Will we get to see Kettle Run playmaker Kayden Brown go up against standout corner [player_tooltip player_id='1313477' first='Eli' last='Maxie']? Will top ranked lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1657649' first='Rylan' last='Hunt'] out of Forest Park stand tall against a plethora of pass rushers? Can [player_tooltip player_id='1663713' first='Samuel' last='Rhye'] fresh off his new ranking break free from stud linebackers like [player_tooltip player_id='1665216' first='Blake' last='Sloan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1312046' first='Odin' last='Erickson']?
