Samuel Rhye Samuel Rhye 5'11" | 205 lbs | RB/ATH Lake Braddock | 2027 State VA is an underrated player. He is a highly skilled running back who earned 2nd team selection. His ability to get in and out of breaks is excellent. You can easily see him playing as either a slot or a running back at the next level. He is currently ranked the 283rd player in the 2027 class; he deserves a bump in his ranking. He is that talented a player.

Samuel is thick muscled up RB who displayed impressive change of direction and footwork. In combine testing he put up one of the best L-Drill time of any RB with a 7.15 second time. To be able to drop his weight, change direction with that burst with his build means Sam is a RB that comes downfield with a lot of force. A RB with nice balance, smooth hips/feet and doesn’t waste any movement. He hits his cuts and and keeps going with no loss of speed. Only starting 7 games for Lake Braddock last fall, Samuel takes over as the #1 RB for them. I expect him to have a huge senior season and be a prospect college coaches start to shift their focus too with good early senior film.

Samuel started 7 of his 13 games played in 2025, totaling 880 Yards and 10 Touchdowns. A power runner who displays good strength and solid balance as a runner who is tough to bring down on the first hit. Not a high-end elusive runner, but he does a good job making cuts to set himself up to break tackles with his strength with good finish on his runs. He is registered for our Winter Combine, and I am intrigued to see how he performs there. Expect more content on him soon.

For those not in the know Holmes was lost for the season last month and the junior back Rhye is next in line. Averaging over 100 per contest, he had a great night in the Bruins two touchdown win over Mount Vernon.
