He's bigger and stronger than many upperclassmen and has a natural feel for the EDGE position. He can fight off blocks and does a good job of closing on the ball-carrier while making a secure tackle. The Milton native played against quality competition on a weekly basis and ended his first season with 38 tackles and four TFLs. He's a rangy defensive back who closes quickly on the ball-carrier while giving the Spartans someone in the secondary who can also make a play on the ball. He brings good size for his age at 5-foot-11 175-pounds and made a significant impact in just his first season. The Norcross native made 44 tackles and two TFLs on defense while adding two INTs and three more pass-breakups in coverage. As good as he was as a freshman, look for Janczak to have an even better season in year two.
