Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the top young prospects in the North Fulton area, Biermann is a big, physical edge defender at his age at 6-foot-2 225-pounds who opened a lot of eyes last year as a freshman. The promising defender made 38 tackles in his first season with four tackles behind the line of scrimmage. He also showed good pursuit of the ball carrier, knows how to wrap up properly and deliver a sound hit on the ball-carrier. He’s a 2029 edge defender on the rise who should have an outstanding sophomore season for the Cambridge Bears in 2026. He’s now ranked by Prep Redzone as a top-50 prospect in the state for his class.

A big, physical freshman who made a quick impact last season for the mighty Cambridge Bears, Biermann is physically gifted at 6-foot-2 225-pounds who can set the edge and read the quarterbacks in the run game. He’s bigger and stronger than many upperclassmen and has a natural feel for the EDGE position. He can fight off blocks and does a good job of closing on the ball-carrier while making a secure tackle. The Milton native played against quality competition on a weekly basis and ended his first season with 38 tackles and four TFLs.
