A dynamic running back with outstanding speed, elusiveness, and a natural feel for the position, Watts is a strong runner with breakaway speed who ran wild this fall in his very first high school season. Already one of the very best running backs in West Georgia and across Columbus, Watts has an impressive offer list already with easy five-star potential in the 2029 class. The 5-foot-11 180-pounder ran for an impressive 1,037 yards and 17 touchdowns as a freshman this season in 15 games. He also averaged an eye-opening 9.6 yards per carry. He's an elite prospect and ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 1 running back in the state for his class.

A tough, physical runner who knows how to deliver a big hit behind his pads, Lumpkin was down the depth chart this season as a freshman in a loaded Newton running back room, but when he got the ball, he took full advantage. He shows good vision for someone his age and knows how to get down-hill for tough yards. He ran just 29 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. If he continues to work hard and add more mass, Lumpkin could be one of the region's best next year and in store for a possible breakout sophomore season. He has Power Four potential and is now ranked as the No. 2 running back in the state for the 2029 class.

A quick, shifty back in South Georgia who opened up a lot of eyes this season, Jackson is a promising freshman who led the Bainbridge Bears in rushing this season, taking off for an impressive 688 yards and one touchdown. He's not the biggest back, but he runs hard for his size, shows natural vision and above-average burst. He powers through defenders after contact and still has his best football still way ahead of him. With a big off-season perfecting his craft and adding more muscle, Jackson could see some major offers come his way down the road. He's a South Georgia back who could be one of the region's best next season.

One of the top young two-way players across the state, Wasson is a private-school athlete in rural Georgia who dominated on both sides of the ball as a freshman this past season. He's a terrific athlete with a muscular 5-foot-10 195-pound frame who can do just about anything you need on the gridiron. At running back, Wasson ran through defenses on a weekly basis for 1,151 yards and 11 touchdowns, hitting the 100-yard mark six times. He's a tackle-breaking back with above-average speed who also made 130 tackles on defense. He's a sleeper 2029 athlete to keep a close eye on moving forward after his dominant freshman season.

A sleeper freshman running back to know south of Atlanta, England was a productive runner last season for his private school offense and did it as a freshman. He ran hard, can be tough to tackle, and showed the ability to bring a physical presence to the Creekside Christian rushing attack. England ran for 678 yards and four touchdowns this season, hitting the 100-yard mark once. He ran for at least 60 yards in six games and averaged a respectable 5.3 yards per carry. He's one of the top young running backs in the McDonough area bound for an even bigger sophomore season next year.
