Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the more productive defensive backs across Gwinnett County in the 2029 class, Janczak is a speedy, instinctive safety who knows how to run down the ball carrier. He plays fast, shows strong instincts for someone his size, and was is coming off a really impactful first season for a respectable Greater Atlanta Christian program. The playmaking freshmen made 44 tackles last year with two tackles behind the line of scrimmage. He also picked off two passes in coverage, broke up three more passes, and forced one fumble. He’s a sure tackling safety with his best football stow way ahead of him. He saw a big boost in the latest 2029 rankings and could see his stock and his ranking only rise over time.

Another impressive, versatile defensive back with natural instincts and an impressive motor, Janczak sure didn’t look like a freshman this season for Greater Atlanta Christian. He’s a rangy defensive back who closes quickly on the ball-carrier while giving the Spartans someone in the secondary who can also make a play on the ball. He brings good size for his age at 5-foot-11 175-pounds and made a significant impact in just his first season. The Norcross native made 44 tackles and two TFLs on defense while adding two INTs and three more pass-breakups in coverage. As good as he was as a freshman, look for Janczak to have an even better season in year two. IF he does, some merits Power Four interest and offers could follow.
