Making his presence known from start to finish was Bryce Aukerman, a quarterback at Lipscomb Academy that was awarded MVP for his performance. Aukerman was a top tier passer during positional drills, showcasing excellent arm strength, strong footwork, and some great accuracy on all of his reps. This rising signal caller out of the Nashville area is definitely worth keeping tabs on as he continues to develop.

2030 D1 Nashville QB Bryce Aukerman was one of the most intriguing young prospects in attendance and showed impressive upside for an incoming freshman. He looked like the top quarterback of the day among the 15U group with some older players, consistently showing strong arm talent with plenty of zip on the football and smooth, repeatable mechanics. Aukerman throws a very clean ball and demonstrates the ability to make every throw on the field with consistent placement at all three levels. He showed patience letting routes develop and didn’t rush decisions, which stood out for such a young quarterback. His natural athleticism was also evident on the defensive side of the ball where he spent time at safety and looked comfortable moving in space.

The 7^th Grade Tennessee Future Stars had an embarrassment of riches at the Quarterback position, with all three of QBs sharing the tri-Offensive MVP.

With that said, Bryce Aukerman Bryce Aukerman 6'1" | 168 lbs | QB Greater Atlanta Christian | 2030 GA got the nod as the starting QB and on the second play from scrimmage, he showed everyone why. On the play QB1 launched an absolute laser to Kaion Hines Kaion Hines 5'10" | 130 lbs | WR/DB Bellevue | 2030 TN , and after the tremendous grab, the Big Orange went up 6-0, just a minute and 1:19 into the game.

His second series of the game didn’t last much longer. On 1^st-and-10 from Tennessee’s own 47-yard line, the Lipscomb Academy connection took center stage. Aukerman hit regular season his his Mustang teammate Ace Eschenburg Ace Eschenburg 5'8" | 178 lbs | RB Lipscomb Academy | 2030 TN on a deep ball that looked destined for more points, until a Eschenburg had the ball punched loose on a great defensive play. Kentucky recovered the loose ball and took over possession on its own 3-yard line. It wasn’t all for not though, as Tennessee still got points out of the “drive”, when their defense recorded a safety just two plays later. This kid is going to be a special QB in the state of Tennessee for class of 2030.
