The 10 finalists for the Prep Redzone WI Player of the Year. The season was unforgettable with so many new state champions, massive individual performances, upset wins, a new race for the longest win streak in the state. So many things happened and it was all because of the impressive student athletes across this state. Narrowing this list down to 10 felt impossible, but I believe these 10 best represent what we look for. Individual dominance, that are responsible for a large percentage of the team's workload and having all that translate into consistent winning. Let's talk about little more about these 10 athletes, and then Monday we announce our winner! Congratulations to everyone who made it to this point. It was well deserved to say the least.

136/201, 67.7% Comp. That includes a 2024 State Championship. This season he came back better than ever and delivered huge numbers on the back of very accurate passes and smart decisions with the football. That stat line including 43 total TDs and only 2 INTs all season is unbelievable. The senior QB is uncommitted, so check out the late steal.

201/308, 65.3% Comp. The junior did a great job of facilitating to multiple receivers, producing two 1K receivers along the way. As you can see from the total offense percentage, the offense ran through Quintin and his ability to get the ball out on time and accurately to every level of the field led D-D to a strong season. Quintin will be a QB to watch this summer as he prepares for his senior season.

160/259, 61.8% Comp. The poise shined in his tape over and over as he always kept his eyes downfield. And on top of it all he has a legit D1 arm. He is such a natural athlete that he seamlessly took over at QB and instantly was completely 65+% of his passes over the past two seasons. Where he makes his money was with his legs. The playmaker is able to make something out of nothing at such a high rate because of his vision, instincts, and acceleration through traffic. Then you add in dominance on the backend of the defense too and you get a dominant HS athlete. I'm pumped to watch Brody on Saturdays at Iowa.

78/107, 72.9% Comp. The junior is an electric dual threat athlete. Zeke delivered at such a high rate in every role he had. He was a super accurate passer. On the ground he carries the ball and attacks defenses like a talented RB. On defenses he flies around the secondary and shows a really high IQ as he diagnoses plays. The versatility is off the charts. It should be a big year for the 2027 between summer camps and this fall as they look to expand on their 14 game win streak at Darlington.

357 Carries, 3,436 Rush Yards, 57 TDs

5 Receptions, 112 Yards, 1 TD

4 Tackles, 1 INT

74% of Team's Rushing TDs, 69% of Team's Total Offensive TDs

61% of Team's Total Offensive Yards

The best pure talent in this list of finalists is RB [player_tooltip player_id='1620318' first='Kingston' last='Allen']. The junior took over the RB1 role this season and left absolutely no doubt that he is the best RB in WI. Size, power, speed come together in this 6'1' 185 lbs package. It is so impressive watching this kid run the ball. He runs so strong, like an RB much bigger than him. But then he also has legit 4.5 speed to beat every angle on the field. His vision and patience behind the line made him even more of a nightmare to slow down because you couldn't get a gang of defenders there to bring him down early in the play. I am anxious to see what his encore performance is this fall as a senior.

289 Carries, 2,642 Rush Yards, 42 TDs

79 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1 FF, 5 INTs, 2 PBUs, 1 Pick Six

4 Punt Return TDs

63% of Team's Rushing TDs, 62% of Team's Total Offensive TDs

53% of Team's Total Offensive Yards

33% of Defense's INTs, 2nd on Team in Tackles

One of the best stories of the season was Will and the Reedsburg team as they made an impressive run to State. Once the playoffs hit Will put on an absolute show at RB and safety. His ability to play at a high level on both sides of the ball is so hard to find, but watching him live it was easy to see the elite traits and effort that has earned him a roster spot on the Wisconsin Badgers. The senior was leaned on heavily, and his powerful athleticism delivered over and over.

222 Carries, 2,013 Rush Yards, 27 TDs

14 Receptions, 232 Receiving Yards, 4 TDs, 1 Kick Return TD

66% of Team's Rushing TDs, 57% of Team's Offensive TDs

55% of Team's Offensive Yards

Kobe put together one of the best RB performances of the season, and it earned him the RB1 spot in our final rankings update. This inclusion is the culmination of an unreal final year of high school. Kobe crushed the summer camps with his elite athleticism and then when the lights came on he proved that athleticism could completely take over games on a weekly basis. The Central Michigan commit earned this spot and that FBS spot after his 2025 efforts.

141/211, 66.8% Comp. Treve dominated the high school level at QB and safety. His 6'4" 200 lbs frame is so powerful, breaking tackles and crumbling ball carriers with his hits on defense. He also was a natural thrower of the football, making smart choices on where to put the ball. Treve dominated so much these past two seasons while also showing off his special talents that he earned a roster spot from the Badgers and will be playing LB for the home state team. On Wisconsin and congrats on a great HS career Treve!
