One of the best stories of the season was Will and the Reedsburg team as they made an impressive run to State. Once the playoffs hit Will put on an absolute show at RB and safety. His ability to play at a high level on both sides of the ball is so hard to find, but watching him live it was easy to see the elite traits and effort that has earned him a roster spot on the Wisconsin Badgers. The senior was leaned on heavily, and his powerful athleticism delivered over and over.

What a run Will and Reedsburg went on this postseason. The Reedsburg rushing attack, anchored by Will, churned their way all the way to State and almost secured them a Championship. It was so impressive watching the success that Will had. Every week the entire stadium would know he was getting the ball and it didn’t matter. The senior won with power, balance, and speed. He runs to strong, punishing defenders and breaking tackles. Will was always ready for contact, and as soon as he worked into green grass he could flip that switch and win the race to the endzone. Will and the Reedsburg rushing attack made their game one of the best of the finals.

What a historic performance from the senior RB/S committed to Duluth. Every time Will touched the ball it was an electric experience. Over and over he knifed through the front seven with his burst, speed, and vision. As soon as this kid had an alley he was gone. There was no pursuit angles chasing him down. It was so impressive watching him dominate when everyone in the stadium knew where it was going. Reedsburg didn’t complete a pass. They just kept turning around and handing it to Will to make highlight reel play after highlight reel play.
The senior showed elite conditioning playing defense as well. Will made an unreal INT grab in the endzone where he had to go up strong and make the catch while the WR was right there trying to do the same. The 200 lbs athlete was simply too strong and secured the catch while making an elite toe tap on the sideline to stay inbounds. Duluth has a good one coming to town next fall.
