6’1+ and 240 pounds and counting, 2028 DL Rylen Knuth Rylen Knuth 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL/OL Reedsburg Arena | 2028 State WI showed up well over the border at the PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp. Violent and strong, Knuth was a beast during the padded Board Drill session, showing a ton of strength at the contact point when he locks out his arms, and he earned some hard-fought wins against some physically-impressive, high-quality OL competition from the Upper Midwest. Should have a big season for Reedsburg in 2026.

Stats: Starting Center, 5 Tackles
Rylen is an impressive athlete. You don’t come across too many kids who play center and LB and excel at both positions. Rylen is a high IQ player, winning with leverage and a strong lower body. On offense he is able to get to level two and wins with leverage at a very high rate. On defense the kid packs a punch when he engages with the OL and can play very stout vs the run game. Tackle to tackle the sophomore shines as a defender. There is so much potential to continue to tap into over the next two years.

Stats: Starting OL, 4 Tackles
Rylen was another force in the trenches and front seven for Reedsburg. He was a member of the OL that was dominating the Waterford front seven and opening up gaps for Will’s huge day. Rylen also did well playing LB for the Beavers. The ’28 is at 225 lbs, but that didn’t hurt his impact in the trenches. Rylen did a great job of exploding off the line on offense and creating a surge in the trenches with his initial contact and leg drive through that contact. On defense the big man was making it difficult to find space between the tackles. He could easily take on and shed blocks with those heavy hands and had really reliable range for a 225 lbs athlete. It was great to see Rylen in live action!

I love the way Rylen plays in the trenches. The 2028 is building a big, long, strong frame in that Reedsburg weight room and his freshman tape gives a great look into it. On defense Rylen launches off the line and instantly turns that initial spring into power. Pair that with heavy hands and you get a kid that is able to engage and disengage quickly. For being a bigger athlete Knuth has really solid range in the backfield to chase down plays and wreck havoc in the backfield. The ’28 has great instincts, quickly finding the ball while fighting off the blocks of OL. Then on offense Knuth is a bulldozer of an OG, delivering pancakes on kickoff blocks and driving level one defenders into level two, opening up massive holes for his RBs. The potential is sky high for Rylen with three years of HS ball still ahead of him. I expect to see him work his way further and further up this list, even with waves of new additions.
