Thoughts on the seniors on offense

I wasn't able to see games featuring St. Mary's Ryken, Landon, St. Paul's, Severn, or St. Vincent Pallotti in person. But I did see all of those teams online except for Landon. That being said, [player_tooltip player_id='909784' first='Dillon' last='Faust'] has been among the best over the past couple of seasons. I think his size has hurt him from a recruiting standpoint, but there's still a few weeks to go before Signing Day. It was a pleasure to get to see [player_tooltip player_id='1297503' first='Connor' last='Salmin'] play in person this season. Clemson is getting a very explosive player. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='523060' first='Cedric' last='Kouemi'] has been a steady force over the past couple of years. He should get on the field early at Jackson State. It goes without saying that [player_tooltip player_id='1218835' first='Immanuel' last='Iheanacho'] was a grown man out there for Georgetown Prep over the past couple of seasons. I got to see him dominate on both sides of the football against St. Albans that I watched in person. He'll be in the NFL in a few years.

Defense
• [player_tooltip player_id='1697938' first='Tavon' last='Anthony'] — DL, Archbishop Curley, Sr., 6-4, 320
• Balen Boutz — DL, Archbishop Curley, Sr., 6-1, 200
• [player_tooltip player_id='1607491' first='Orrin' last='Ford'] — DL, Bullis School, Sr., 6-4, 255; Howard commit
• [player_tooltip player_id='1696475' first='Ryan' last='Ikwuemesi'] — DL, Georgetown Prep, Sr., 6-3, 265; Johns Hopkins commit
• [player_tooltip player_id='2102606' first='Cahron' last='Wheeler'] — DL, St. Paul's School, Jr., 6-4, 240
• Jack Athas — LB, Archbishop Curley, Sr., 6-2, 190
• [player_tooltip player_id='1705208' first='Kyle' last='Davis'] — LB, Georgetown Prep, Jr., 6-5, 235
• Zach Pugh — LB, St. Mary's Ryken, Sr., 6-0, 220
• [player_tooltip player_id='1697677' first='Landan' last='Blue'] — DB, St. Paul's School, Sr., 5-10, 175
• Jamere Branch — DB, Severn School, Sr., 6-0, 190
• [player_tooltip player_id='1128980' first='Colt' last='Erdos'] — DB, Boys' Latin, Jr., 6-0, 175
• [player_tooltip player_id='1840154' first='Carson' last='Shoffner'] — DB, John Carroll, Sr., 5-9, 175
• Devon Trowell — ATH, St. Mary's Ryken, Jr., 5-10, 170

My thoughts on the seniors on defense

[player_tooltip player_id='1607491' first='Orrin' last='Ford'] is one that I think will flourish even more once he gets to Howard. He was one of the best defensive linemen this past season in the IAC.

Thoughts on the underclassmen

I think Georgetown Prep running back JaPhya Rouson will see even more of an uptick in his recruitment this upcoming off-season. He is already built like a college running back and has the speed to go with it. Rouson is already on the radar, but I think he'll be getting a lot more love once the portal closes and Signing Day passes. His teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='1705208' first='Kyle' last='Davis'], is an impressive looking prospect, especially with his size and agility. It'll be interesting to see where school's see him at position-wise as the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='2102606' first='Cahron' last='Wheeler']'s double-digit offer list includes Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Maryland. Devon Trowell accumulated 1,000-plus total yards and scored 14 total touchdowns on offense this past season.
