Ty Bussard Ty Bussard 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Severn School | 2026 State MD enters his senior season as a more intriguing quarterback prospects in his region. The rising senior has already shown the ability to fit the ball into tight windows with confidence and precision, while also flashing mobility and a knack for making accurate throws on the run. That combination of arm talent and off-platform ability makes him a dangerous weapon in both rollout and broken plays.

This past season, Bussard threw for 1,407 yards and 12 touchdowns, displaying steady growth as a passer and leader on offense. At 6-foot-plus with a strong arm and competitive edge, he has the tools to continue elevating his game as a senior.

Currently holding an offer from West Virginia State, Bussard’s skill set suggests more programs could come calling if he builds on his production in 2025. With his mix of pocket poise and improvisation, Bussard projects as a quarterback capable of developing into a steady offensive centerpiece at the next level.

Ty is a player I got to see a ton this spring and his play stood out constantly. A verified 6’2″ 190lbs+ QB, has a good/strong size and frame to stand tall in the pocket. He showed off strong arm mechanics and a quick release during the National Preps Spring Showcase. He’s got the arm strength to bomb it deep 50+ yards. Can also change speed effectively – putting zip on it to fit the ball into tight windows or putting nice touch on passes to drop into the receivers hands in stride. Ty plays with impressive anticipation & timing, showing strong understanding of the offense. That checks as he is a 4.0 high academic student.

Currently, Ty only holds one offer from WV State, and he is a no brainer D2 $ kid and should be getting looks from FCS and high academic schools.

Ty had a strong weekend for Team AIO as he showed great accuracy and took care of the ball. He is a nice size QB at 6’2″ with a big frame, standing tall in the pocket, Ty finds the open player. Showcasing a quick release and is able to zip it into tight spaces. Ty also puts great touch on his passes, able to place it directly into the receivers path for them to extend the play. He understands placement and throws with anticipation. With his size, ability to read defenses/ run an offense, and paired with being a 4.0+ GPA – Ty is QB recruit that makes sense for a lot of colleges.
