Carter's 2025 tape that has come out is an interesting one in my eyes. The 6'0 170 pounder thus far has unloaded just a pancake tape which is clever in my honest opinion as it points to the physicality that Carter has at his disposal on muliple levels of the football field. He is a 2027 prospect that is a high-motored kid that gets upfield quickly to throw his hands on a blocker regardless of where he is on the field. I hope to see more variety on tape from Carter as we enter this winter as the physicality should tell there's more to the tape.

The top 2027 prospect I believe in this class for the Wall Eagles, is quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1320970' first='Tanner' last='Volmer']. The 6'1 180 pounder sits as our QB4 in our South Dakota class and it doesn't take long to see why on tape. Tanner is a dual-threat quarterback that can use his legs efficently to get out of the pocket, sets his feet, and can let the ball rep downfield as he has great arm strength and can make quick reads downfield efficently. He also has grown in his junior season with his ball placement as he's leading his receivers with even more precision than a year ago. Light D2 interest at the moment for those recruiting that 2027 class.

Teelan has become a more sizable target since the last time I got an eval on him and it backs up on tape. The 6'3 155 pounder has gotten longer with his vertical and using it to his advantage in 1v1 situations especially against sizable defensive backs. He has developed the soft hands and has route-efficency on all three levels in our eyes. He is a wide receiver that can play anywhere in the X or Z-spots. He is one that can you a lot to his frame in the coming few years with more time in the weight room.

Kamden might turn out to be one of my favorite small town finds in this 2027 class in this winter's cycle of our South Dakota rankings. The 6'3 200 pounder from Castlewood, is a hammering linebacker that has to be one of the hardest hitters this class has to offer. Talk about a young man that knows how to finish at the point of attack, Kamden's tape shows you how textbook he is. He's a two-way athlete that is excellent on both sides of the ball but to me grades out as a linebacker at the next-level. Kamden is one that I feel grades out as a D1 grade from my end here at PRZ.

The Castlewood Warriors are double-stacked at the linebacker position in their 2027 class which also includes [player_tooltip player_id='2103783' first='Owen' last='Shea']. The 5'11 200 pounder, is one that pops to the ball with great vision and patience waiting for the ideal pursuit angle to get to the ball carrier. Owen is one that plays with the noticable motor you want at the linebacker position. The development for Owen is to get more downhill consistently as a run-stopper as I felt the deeper I got into his tape, the more I saw him more on time with meeting the ball carrier in the backfield.
