Easily my favorite ball carrier stat line in the Dakotas, as I was covering Castlewood’s game on the road at Hamlin came from Augustana commit Kamden Keszler Kamden Keszler 6'3" | 205 lbs | LB/ATH Castlewood | 2027 State SD . Our LB1 in the 2027 class, not only carried that stat line, but it was the authorititve running ability he had on every carry he had as you felt from watching his game that he was running like it was the last carry he was ever going to get in the game as Castlewood ended up victorious over Hamlin 46-34 in Week 0. With the reps I was able to watch live especially in the first half it felt like every touch he had could go the distance which is a reason why I felt early in our rankings process for the 2027 class that he was the athletic gem of this class from the sleepy town of Castlewood, population just over 700 people.

Football: 1-0, impressive 46-34 win over #2 ranked Hamlin. The athletic Mr. Keszler went off on 19 carries for 248 yards and a wild 6 TD’s!

Basketball: Bucket-getter with a potent offensive game, a noteworthy athlete, scores from every level, gets it done on both ends of the floor, dominant baller

Kamden might turn out to be one of my favorite small town finds in this 2027 class in this winter’s cycle of our South Dakota rankings. The 6’3 200 pounder from Castlewood, is a hammering linebacker that has to be one of the hardest hitters this class has to offer. Talk about a young man that knows how to finish at the point of attack, Kamden’s tape shows you how textbook he is. He’s a two-way athlete that is excellent on both sides of the ball but to me grades out as a linebacker at the next-level. Kamden is one that I feel grades out as a D1 grade from my end here at PRZ.
