The 6’1 180 pounder sits as our QB4 in our South Dakota class and it doesn’t take long to see why on tape. Tanner is a dual-threat quarterback that can use his legs efficently to get out of the pocket, sets his feet, and can let the ball rep downfield as he has great arm strength and can make quick reads downfield efficently. He also has grown in his junior season with his ball placement as he’s leading his receivers with even more precision than a year ago. Light D2 interest at the moment for those recruiting that 2027 class.

Tanner is our current QB4 in the 2027 SD class and do I expect him to be a riser in this class? I cemrtainly do. He certainly has amped up his arm strength from his junior season tape and the accuracy I have seen on those deep throws is another step upwards that Tanner has made. The elusive out of the pocket is antoher upwards spark that Tanner has made as he’ll look to bring a state championship home to Wall this week in 9A.
