Top Uncommitted 2026 Running Backs

We're about to put a bow on the 2026 class, but before we do, I wanted to take a few days to break down some of the best seniors at each position who have yet to sign with a school. Hopefully, these guys will find homes because they're talented enough to play at the next level.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Uncommitted 2026 RBs</h2>    Morris had a big senior year, his best as a high schooler, with over 1,500 yards and a big uptick in touchdowns. He's one of the steadiest running backs in the state, in that it's hard to find a glaring weakness in his game. He rarely loses yardage, and he's a patient runner.     Cullen got a late start in the recruiting process, but after a strong senior year, he's starting to see his recruitment take off. A patient runner with long strides, Cullen does the dirty work well, succeeding as a pass-blocker and pass-catcher out of the backfield.     While Davis has a few things working against him, namely that he comes from a Wing-T variant offense and plays at a lower level, his height-weight-speed combination is among the best in the state. He's a powerful runner with breakaway speed, a running back whose upside makes him an intriguing February signee.     Wingate was a 2,000-yard rusher at North Lincoln, and when he transferred to a fairly different system at Maiden, he put up over 1,900 yards as a senior. He's a versatile rusher who thrives in an outside zone system, but has the acceleration to get downhill on power concepts. He has the speed to bounce runs to the outside and the power to run through arm tackles.     Iovino had a breakout senior season, even on an offense that often struggled to move the ball otherwise. He has excellent size and flashed breakaway speed on film, often able to induce poor angles from second-level defenders. He ran for nearly 1,900 yards, often against heavier boxes, and was able to break off several chunk runs.    Prep Redzone NC doesn't break for the offseason!
