Iovino was the heart and soul of a Cuthbertson team that played a difficult schedule in 2025. The larger power back is getting some recognition after the season, with a few late offers. He’s excellent between the tackles and works upfield to gain extra yardage, even against heavy fronts.

Iovino had a breakout senior season, even on an offense that often struggled to move the ball otherwise. He has excellent size and flashed breakaway speed on film, often able to induce poor angles from second-level defenders. He ran for nearly 1,900 yards, often against heavier boxes, and was able to break off several chunk runs.

For the last two years, Mason has been a major piece of the Cavaliers’ offensive attack. Even more so this year than last, due to some supporting cast changes around him. Despite being the #1 threat offensively, Mason has still found ways to consistently produce for his team. Mason is a strong runner who has good speed once he gets into the open field. He can carry an offense, and I think the East Team has a reliable guy they can lean on in this All-Star game.

An impressive athlete, Iovino took on a bigger role in 2024 for Cuthbertson after being limited as a sophomore. He’s not going to blow you out of the water with any one particular trait; rather, he has above average burst, balance, and long speed, three traits that show up immediately on film. That plays out in testing too, which has helped him in spring camps.
