<p>Taking over the starting QB reins as a senior, Kampman energized the passing game which propelled the Spartans to a state semifinal appearance this season. Kampman led the 3A conference in passing TDs (29) while finishing with 2230 passing yards, rushing for an additional 488 yards and 5 TDs. </p>

<p>Malik emerged very quickly in his first year as a starter into the centerpiece of the Tigers' offense and one of the best RBs in the conference. Malik led the 3A conference with 1514 yards (7.8 YPC) while scoring 18 TDs, helping guide Carroll to a 5-game winning streak to push the team back into the playoffs. </p>

<p>The star LB/RB prospect was once again the center of attention for the Crusaders; a one-man wrecking crew who paved the way for Bishop Heelan to reach the state championship game. Thomas ran for 1405 yards (6.5 YPC) and a conference-high 23 TDs. The 4-star recruit will be taking his talents with him to the Hawkeyes going forward. </p>

<p>Webster City's offense struggled to find the same effect in their potent run-game from previous seasons, but Nohrenberg remained a vital leader up front as a run-blocking Tackle, helping guide the offense to over 2000+ total rushing yards once again. Nohrenberg will bring his skillset with him to Dordt to play football at the next level. </p>

<p>One of the biggest breakout stars perhaps in the entire state last season, Lange exploded onto the scene as a sophomore as he led the conference with 13 sacks to go with 41 tackles (27 solo) and 18.5 TFLs. His explosive run also proved vital in an unexpected 7-3 turnaround campaign, their first winning season since 2019. </p>

Nelson racked up 33 tackles (22 solo), 16.5 TFLs, 9 sacks, and an interception returned for a TD, including 2 sacks in the state championship game against Bishop Heelan. </p>

<p>Mount Vernon's defense didn't quite reach the same levels of success as they had in 2024, but their 45 total sacks as a unit still led the 3A conference by a wide margin. Anderson returned as the most effective leader of the pass-rush unit, recording 79.5 tackles (61 solo), 27.5 TFLs, 12 sacks, a fumble recovery, and an interception returned for a TD. </p>

<p>West Delaware had far more success in 2025 thanks to a strong defense that ranked 6th in the conference in points allowed (15.7 PPG). Georgen played a big part in their success with his ability to generate pressure, finishing with 93 tackles (47 solo), 23.5 TFLs, and 10 sacks. </p>

<p>A returning starter following the Golden Eagles' perfect campaign last season, Krapfl was able to keep the defense afloat, ranking as the third best scoring defense (13.3 PPG allowed) in the conference. Krapfl finished with 108 total tackles, and his 83 solo tackles were the most in the 3A conference, adding 13 TFLs, 5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and 3 interceptions in the process. </p>

<p>Bellamy was all over the field for Winterset as he dominated the Free Safety position. Bellamy led the conference with 110.5 total tackles (58 solo), an impressive feat for a defensive back. He also added 5 TFLs, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, 10 passes defended, 7 interceptions, and one defensive TD. </p>

Kelley finished with 41 tackles (34 solo), 3 TFLs, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and 6 interceptions with 2 returned for TDs. </p>

Egeland made all 9 of his field goal attempts with a season long of 45 while finishing 35 of 36 on extra points and hitting 27 touchbacks on 57 kickoffs. </p>
