Prep Redzone Iowa dropped a Class of 2028 rankings update on Monday. The site dedicated itself to putting in the time as you can see by the number of student-athletes in there with evaluations attached to their profiles.

That's really the goal. We're trying to evaluate as many of you as possible in hopes of helping as Iowans receive exposure. By the way, that's another call for video highlights on your Hudl page (which we can then put in your Redzone profile). We need film to scout.

With that in mind, I'm adding evaluations in these positional breakdowns on guys we've not written about since before the season or not at all. It allows for highlighting more student-athletes while waiting on new film for players whose current film already has been evaluated. There also are reports generated from in-person scouting opportunities.

Here are '28 offensive linemen I found that needed an updated evaluation or one on their profile for the first time:

It was surprising to see that Shannon's Prep Redzone profile page was void of an evaluation when visiting it following a rankings update in late January. He can get lost in a shuffle residing in the top position group of Iowa's 2028 Class. That could benefit colleges looking for an O-Lineman with a lot of upside. Shannon shows that during his sophomore highlight video of 2025. On it, we witness a interior force on the offensive line. He fires off of the snap with an ability to defeat opponents with power in a phone booth or by picking them off in space when on the move. PCM takes advantage of the agility by pulling Shannon. His frame is capable of adding good weight and strength without making him less nimble. Shannon's ceiling is high and him raising his recruiting stock on the college camp circuit this summer is a good bet.

Bergeson continued developing within a Waukee Northwest program on the rise during the 2025 season. The Wolves leaned on a veteran offensive line with a Power 4 transfer in reaching the state semifinals for the first time in school history. Graduation losses will open up opportunities next fall for returnees who've been biding their time on a roster deep in talent. That makes Bergeson a breakout candidate during the upcoming campaign. There's isn't a lot of new footage of him since we evaluated the junior-to-be's freshman film last year. What we do see on his Hudl page are clips from his 10th-grade season that show a left tackle with the athleticism to be effective in pass pro and the strength to dominate in the run game.

The Raridon name is synonymous with success at Valley. Ari has the look of a football player capable of adding to the legacy. He flashes that during his sophomore highlight video from the 2025 season. A 10th-grader starting at right guard at one of the state's top schools for developing next-level talent gets your attention. The clips confirm his right to be there. Raridon exhibits strength and physicality beyond his years. He's fast off of the snap with a bend that gains leverage and hands actively controlling the opposition. Raridon is a guy capable of rising in these rankings significantly moving forward as he climbs his way to a sizable ceiling.

Crees is a prospect packed with potential. A basketball player that's become a later bloomer on the gridiron, the athleticism and agility are present to achieve a significant ceiling. Crees' Hudl page is void of football highlights, which makes him tough to evaluate. With the University of Iowa welcoming him on a visit and feedback received from regular watchers of Crees, I decided to find full-game film of the Comets from 2025. It can be beneficial in that it's not a highlight tape and mistakes can be seen. While Crees has plenty on which to work, he shows a good feel at left tackle, particularly in pass protection. The hoops footwork stands out as does lateral quickness. Crees wins a lot of battles in the run game, especially when he can square up the defender. He's another guy that could rise in future rankings updates.

I watched Harris compete in-person during a late-season game at Iowa City West. The sophomore showed me something with how he held up against an opponent that was deep and talented in the trenches. Harris supports what we saw live during his 10th-grade highlight video. On it we witness a guy on the interior of the offensive line advanced for his age and experience. Harris maximizes his developing frame against older competition by being technically solid. He gets low, driving with his legs while packing a punch. Harris is nimble and quick laterally, which helps in pass protection, too. Keep on eye on him in 2026. Harris is a guy that could pop.

Lewis Central has a history of developing college prospects in the trenches. While the footage of Gard is limited on his Hudl page, what's there provides evidence of a prospect for the next level. The sophomore operated from the left tackle spot and stood out most for his excellence in the run game. On the available clips, Gard continuously drives his opponent down the field. Often times that's by going straight through him with power and strong hands. He also can pick off defenders in space with mobility and agility. The latter helps him in pass protection, where he sets up well and is light on his feet.
