Jackson may have been one the more undersized defensive linemen at the SMSU Prospect Camp, but there were a handful of reps that he flashed intriguing athleticism that caught my attention. The 5’11 200 pounder from Linn-Mar also showed off the grit you want to see in the defensive trenches as he showed well engaged hands that got off blocks in Marshall with efficency. Jackson was also more sudden off the snap than you might expect for his size.

I watched Harris compete in-person during a late-season game at Iowa City West. The sophomore showed me something with how he held up against an opponent that was deep and talented in the trenches. Harris supports what we saw live during his 10th-grade highlight video. On it we witness a guy on the interior of the offensive line advanced for his age and experience. Harris maximizes his developing frame against older competition by being technically solid. He gets low, driving with his legs while packing a punch. Harris is nimble and quick laterally, which helps in pass protection, too. Keep on eye on him in 2026. Harris is a guy that could pop.
