It feels like Iowa’s 2029 Class has a chance to be a good one. Many of the guys capable of making that the case are positioned to break out this coming season. After watching him compete at the Back 2 Ballin High 2026 7v7 Tournament during the middle of April at the UNI-Dome, Polniak looked like a prospect positioned to join that group. The versatile Iowa Insanity athlete is honing his skills in hopes of that happening at Linn-Mar in the fall. Polniak has a projectable frame with long arms. There’s plenty of room for him to fill out and add strength without losing the speed and agility that makes him an interesting prospect on both sides of the ball. Polniak flashes upside as a receiver that can win balls over the top or make plays across the middle of the field. A fluid athlete, the skills are there to run with wideouts in coverage. Linn-Mar is an underrated program as it relates to producing players for the next level, and Polniak has a chance to join that lineage.
