As we approach the last few days of the year, the 2025 high school football season has come and gone in the state of Kentucky. With that being said, I will be taking the next couple weeks to release my 2025 All-State teams to highlight the top players from this season in each class. To kick things off, here is my 2025 6A-All State Offense!

[player_tooltip player_id='374785' first='Zane' last='Johnson'] continued his very impressive career as the starting quarterback for Trinity this season, leading them to their third-consecutive 6A state title with him under center. As a junior, Johnson led 6A in passing, completing 176/258 passes for 2,925 yards, 52 touchdowns, and only three interceptions in 15 games. Zane has shown the arm strength to stretch the field with ease in the deep passing game. He has also proven to be a very accurate passer, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows where only his intended receivers have a chance to catch them. Johnson also scored two rushing touchdowns this season. Zane currently holds offers from Southern Mississippi, Akron, Appalachian State, Miami (OH), and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='2088083' first='James' last='Bradley'] jumped onto my radar with a very impressive senior year. Bradley led Hopkinsville in rushing this season, carrying the ball 211 times for 1,466 yards and 25 touchdowns in 12 games. James has very explosive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane with a sense or urgency then run away from the defense on long runs. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has shown the strength to break tackles with ease and elusiveness to make defenders miss. Bradley also played a key role in the passing game this season, catching 19 passes for 398 yards and six touchdowns while also throwing two touchdown passes. He also returned one punt and a kickoff for touchdowns, and made an impact on defense, recording 45 tackles and an interception which he returned for a touchdown. James currently holds an offer from Southern Mississippi and I can see him developing into a very productive player at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284247' first='Dakari' last='Talbert'] came into his junior year with high expectations and he truly lived up to them. He led the Broncos in rushing this season, carrying the ball 205 times for 1,423 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games. Talbert is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs driving through contact while maintaining his balance to break tackles with ease. Once he hits the open field, he has also shown the burst of speed to break away from the defense for big gains. He also caught 14 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns this season. Talbert currently holds offers from Missouri State, Miami (OH), Southern Mississippi, Marshall, UT-Martin, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to pile up for him heading into his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='212336' first='Marlon' last='Harbin'] continued to prove that he is one of the most electric playmakers in the state this season. Harbin did a lot of his damage on offense as a receiver where he was able to use his speed to create separation with ease and to pick up yards after the catch. He finished the year as the Tigers' leading receiver with 57 receptions for 688 yards and 10 touchdowns in 14 games. Harbin also carried the ball 54 times for 355 yards and 11 touchdowns, and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. He also made an impact on defense as a senior, recording 47 tackles, four tackles for loss, a team-leading three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown). Harbin signed with Louisville where I can see him being a true impact player at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1907206' first='Jakari' last='Matchem'] caught my attention with a very impressive sophomore season, leading 6A in receiving with 80 catches for 1,239 yards and 21 touchdowns in 12 games. He proved to be a very dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. Matchem is also impressive after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. Jakari is a player who I expect a lot of college coaches to have on their radar going into his junior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1506774' first='Grayson' last='Harris'] has been on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a senior. He led Simon Kenton in receiving this season, catching 57 passes for 1,124 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games. Harris is a skilled route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation with ease. He has also shown the speed to pose as a dangerous deep threat. Grayson also threw two touchdown passes this season and played a role on defense, recording 24 tackles and four interceptions (tied for team lead). Harris is committed to Georgetown (KY) where I can see him having a very successful collegiate career.

Carter has explosive speed which he uses to run by opposing defensive backs with ease to create separation in the deep passing game. He is also very impressive after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. Carter also scored two rushing touchdowns this season. Jake hasn't reported any offers but he definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level if given the opportunity.

He finished the year as North Hardin's leading receiver, hauling in 54 passes for 879 yards and 12 touchdowns in 11 games. Lunz is one of the best route runners that I've seen in the state, using his quick release and sudden breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed to get up the field quickly and elusiveness to make defenders miss to pick up extra yards. Lunz currently holds offers from Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, and Miami (OH), and I expect him to be a true impact player wherever he ends up playing at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='401700' first='David' last='Pellman'] has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to stand out as a senior. He lined up at center where he was dominant as a run blocker. Pellman does a great job of getting the snap off quickly then driving straight through his mans to drive them down the field. He finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. Pellman is also reliable in pass protection, maintaining a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. David signed with Eastern Kentucky where I can see him making an immediate impact when he gets there.

[player_tooltip player_id='971528' first='George' last='Luckett'] is another member of the Manual offensive line who impressed this season. Luckett lined up at left tackle where he was very impressive in pass protection. He gets into his pass sets quickly and has shown the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers with ease off the edge. George does a great job of keeping inside position with his hands along with a strong base while taking on contact, not allowing easy penetration into the pocket. He is also impressive as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man out of the picture quickly to create a running lane. Luckett currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky, UT-Martin, Southeast Missouri State, Southern Illinois, Mount Saint Joseph, and Fairmont State, and I can see him finding success wherever he decides to play at the next level.

He has also shown the ability to get to the second level with a sense of urgency then pick up blocks in the open field. Gillespie has also proven to be effective in the open field, showing the ability to pick up blocks with ease on long runs. He also does a great job on down blocks to drive his man inside to create an outside running lane for the ball carrier.
