Cross Watson Cross Watson 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Trinity | 2026 State KY was Johnson’s go-to target in their win last week, catching four passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns. Watson proved to be a very dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs with ease. He was also very impressive after the catch, showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big gains. Cross doesn’t currently hold any offers but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some come his way soon as he has received a good amount of college interest.

Trinity wideout Cross Watson Cross Watson 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Trinity | 2026 State KY is a very under-the-radar receiver for the Rocks. ‘Coming off a strong junior season that saw him record more than 1,000 yards, he appears well on his way for a great senior year. Watson displayed excellent speed and top-end juice after the catch in a touchdown in the second quarter. Watson displays excellent adjustment to the ball, strong upfield vision and patience to follow blocks. He has also taken handoffs and is very shifty in space.

Watson did most of his damage on offense as a ball carrier where he showed the elusiveness to make defenders miss with ease in the open field. He also showed the burst of speed to run away from the defense on long runs. Watson finished this past season with 106 carries for 1,018 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games. He also made an impact in the passing game, catching 27 passes for 337 yards and four touchdowns, and returned one punt for a touchdown. Cross also made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 52 tackles, four tackles for loss, and an interception. Watson doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should definitely be paying close attention to heading into his senior year.
