Top-9 Prospects for 2029 Remaining in the Playoffs

<p>The TSSAA playoff brackets now feature just 60 high school football teams spanning the entire state of Tennessee and the teams that have made deep runs to this point have some impressive underclass talent that have broken out into legitimate Division One recruits in their sophomore seasons.</p>   <p>As these top teams inside the state continue to make their pushes for a state championship trophy in their respective levels, these prospects in the 2029 class will have legitimate roles on their high school teams competing for a state championship.</p>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">1.) Battle Ground Academy Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1537396' first='Maddox' last='Porter']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1537396' first='Maddox' last='Porter'] is a long receiver prospect that is a natural mover and is quickly developing into a national blue-chip level prospect for his class.</p>   <p>Also one of the better freshman baseball talents in the nation, he is natural athlete that is just a winning player in competitive settings. </p>   <p>As he continues to fill out his lengthy frame and get stronger, he will build on a freshman season with over 1,199 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns, and continue to develop into a superstar.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/prepxtra/status/1989491318066741442?s=20 </div></figure>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2.) Anderson County Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='723014' first='JD' last='Gillum']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='723014' first='JD' last='Gillum'] missed a chunk of the season with injury, but is back for the postseason and is another exciting young quarterback to watch in the state of Tennessee.</p>   <p>He is the son of the head coach and is able to use that experience around football to effectively distribute the ball to talented playmakers.</p>   <p>He has the ability to hit throws while rolling out, an impressive sign for his age. Franklin Road Academy Interior Offensive Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1648720' first='Willis' last='Beard Jr.']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Franklin Road Academy has become a line of scrimmage factory and one of the next guys up is interior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1648720' first='Willis' last='Beard Jr.']</p>   <p>The coaching staff trusts him to run the front at the center position already and he has all the natural tools to be an exciting prospect at the spot with a more filled out frame, which will naturally come working with the impressive Panthers coaching staff.</p>    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">6.) Franklin Road Academy Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1720171' first='Jaxon' last='Hannold']</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Another member of the FRA trench factory, [player_tooltip player_id='1720171' first='Jaxon' last='Hannold'] is the biggest of the bunch with an instant impact frame for the high school level.</p>   <p>While he is a big freshman, he does not sacrifice movement skills to make plays and it has allowed him to play a ton for this team that is in the state championship picture.</p>   <p>He is an exciting prospect along the interior to watch over the next three-plus seasons at FRA.</p>    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">7.)
